Re: Tube strikes

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I genuinely wonder if they are diarised some time in advance, the regularity is so predictable... Just as the kids go back to school, or just when they break up it seems!  What I find odd is that they strike because of conditions and pay, get a deal they are happy...

Re: Patriotism

in the US, burning the American flag has become a trendy symbol of free speech that should be protected, according to the protestor class and rent-a-crowd. The same crowd, however, would happily lynch anyone who dares burn the Rainbow Pride flag and the authorities may consider charging you with a h...

2 FUCKING YEARS. They are imbeciles There should be repurcussions for this. Does not matter how many sporting bodies were looking into it and not saying they weren't right to look into it but there is no way it should take 2 years to come to a conclusion and this  whole episode has been materially ...

There's an element of me that thinks he's positioning for the PSR or squad cost ratio stuff that will affect us end of this season when either the regulations change, or the Rice sale falls off the books.  Both could be quite significant, and none of us really know the position for that. I want him...

Right now nothing is confirmed.

Don’t count out the usual:   “failed the medical”, “don’t go to bed”, “we couldn’t get it over the line”

Kick in the Teeth for Palace if true!? https://x.com/CParkerTurner/status/1962536328513441994     Why have we gazumped Palace for a bog standard centre back? I guess Brighton would just about rather deal with us than Palace but it's a bit weird. Where's the fucking striker then?  Bog standard would...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

We Def need cover at CB now Aguerd has departed. Can we hijack the Palace move got Julio? Ideally like a Striker too but with 4 hours to go its not likely.  If we can get a CB in and move Rodriguez out (if for anything else so Potter isn't tempted to play him) it will have been a good end to a satis...

He answered is critics today, fair enough. One swallow dosen't make a summer, but he's earned himself a reprieve and lets hope we can continue to push in the right direction. Getting one or two more in this window will go a long way in that respect.

Re: Nott'm Forest vs West Ham | PL | 31.08.25 | Prediction & Match Thread

Can I take the lead and publicly declare that I am a knee-jerking knicker wetter? I really (typically West Ham) couldn't remotely see that coming and didn't even really want to spend some of my Sunday watching another capitulation. Life's too short. It's amazing the bump WHU can give your weekend a...

Clever but risky tactics by Potter,he knew Forest would come at us first hour or so then put on subs with pace against Forest tired legs later in game and it worked Yep we contained them pretty well. We got quite deep and rode our luck at times early in the second half as they pressed us back and I...

Summerville feels like a new signing, we really didnt see too much of him under Loppy. He can have a massive impact on our season if he plays like he did today.

The VAR Ref in the Chelsea vs Fulham game has ben relieved of his future duties.  Admission that intervening in the on field decision was a mistake. Just glad it wasnt us.

What a performance and Potter needs to learn from those subs he made. Corner turned? - maybe, but its been a long time since a West Ham performance has put a smile on my face and ill take that for now!!
