Re: Man Utd vs West Ham | PL | 28.11.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
I have little confidence at the best of times but this season the incompetence of Sullivan and Brady has caught up andcwe hage a squad that is incomplete and “not fit for purpose” for the Premier League. Recruitment is where it shows and has continued to cost us but just one of many symptoms of a cl...
Re: Nuno Out
I see few alternatives to Nuno just now unfortunately that we coukd be confident would get more points. For me, he really blew points on the Leeds game trying the same experiment that failed in the previous game. Bournemouth perhaps 2 points dropped. But subbing Wilson 10 mins too early or removing...

Re: Crapaqueta
Replace with a athletic centre mid on loan if necessary and bring Earthy, Fearon and Kante into the squad to replace Irvine and Guido on the bench . Use any fee we get on a striker and/or CB.
Re: Nuno Out
Bilic I like as a bloke but would he really be getting us more points by playing “front foot” football ( a general term for high speed and/or possession dominant football) . With our squad / team wouldnt it be likely we find ourselves shipping lots more goals again and getting exposed / cut thru on ...

Re: West Ham vs Liverpool | PL | 28.11.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
The passing of Bonzo has possibly skewed some opinions which is understandable. I understand fansxsaying we didnt get at them, play on the front foot, show passion, press them high etc etc. And thats true but too binary for me. But imo, and I could of course be wrong, is if we had set up with one ...

Largely my thoughts too Rootsradical
Between now and Jan, I hope he brings Earthy in for Paqueta. We will do better imo, Earthy is a bit like Fernandes and works for the team. Just injuries have delayed his route to the first team

Re: West Ham vs Liverpool | PL | 28.11.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
Nuno is doing what he’s always done tactically. With Forest and even Wolves he had more pace up top, wide and midfield so sitting deep and countering worked very well. At West Ham he simply doesnt have that esp without Summerville. He’s realistically about the best fit for us sadly. We look more s...

Re: West Ham vs Liverpool | PL | 28.11.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
I didnt think there was lack of effort tbh but any tackle the ref blew up for even when clearly getting the ball. You can talk anout fight but you do show it and refs like today book you nowadays. Nuno tried to overload in midfield to stop them and switched it once they scored but then Paq getssen...

Re: West Ham vs Liverpool | PL | 28.11.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
Never got a shot on target. Paqueta sent off might be a blessing if we had someone to come in for him was was athletic. Game was decided by them having Isak a striker who took his one chance and a bench that all gets in our first team. We had some decent performers in Fernandes ( our best player)...

Re: King Billy
My first game over at UP, we’d just bought Billy from Charlton as a RB. What a player, lovely, humble man with it and a proper family man. Up there now with Bobby and one of the few worthy of that over used term “legend”. A very sad day for all of us West Ham fans. Lets hope the fans and team give ...

Re: It's official we are 3rd in a world league!
Yet another damning indictment of our ilustrious owners. Worst ground, 3rd worst recruitment. need be ousted asap even if it means just stepping aside from day to day running of the club. Sullivan’s to look forward to. They’re wordly experience what could go wrong. And Kretinsky and Gold family a...

Re: West Ham U21s
Cheers for the summary Boleyn
Ive watched a lot of the U21 games on YouTube this season and Earthy’s recent return to fitness has already shown he is ready for the first 11. Kante and Fearon next in line for minutes. Orford a great technical player but not sure he has the physicality to step up?

Moyes having Alan Irvine back alongside him ( his long term assistant ) does seem to work. It all fell apart with us a few months after Irvine stepped away and then Pearce.

Re: AFC Bournemouth vs West Ham | PL | 22.11.25 | Prediction and Match Thread
His will get decisions wrong like any human being and Saturday was guilty of that but as Eerie says, in the overall scheme of things, he’s doing ok. Leeds was the other game I think he got it wrong on selections and subs. He certainly has inherited a proper mess of a squad, the result of no long te...

Re: AFC Bournemouth vs West Ham | PL | 22.11.25 | Prediction and Match Thread
Play the younger players where possible and for as long as possible in games. That is the exact opposite of what the last 4 managers have done so logic suggests its a better policy? They can handle the intensity and pace of the PL better and from what Ive seen most are better technically. Of course ...

Re: Weekend Football Predictions: 22 - 24 November
I guess in Frank’s defence he has 10 out injured which is why they look as bad as we have been for much of the season. But their squad is far stronger than ours but then most of the division’s squads are.
Enjoyable watching them getting battered though

Re: Nuno Out
I might be guilty of unconcsious bias or even conscious bias 🤭 but I thought Todibo had a good game yesterday and was our best defender ( not incl Areola of course ). I think, Todibo has been ok for the last 3 games ?, still can improve but the run of games and playing on the left hand side seems to...

Re: Weekend Football Predictions: 22 - 24 November
Villa just did us a favour turning around being one goal behind at HT to win 2-1. Leeds looked decent but ran out of steam by 60 mins and like us have few decent bench options.
Re: Nuno Out
Sullivan and Brady still playing the PSR card and again have their propaganda outlets talking about having to sell before we buy but without a better CB, another athletic midfielder and central striker we will be hard pushed to stay up imo. At CB Mavropanos in place of Kilman might need to be tried ...

Re: AFC Bournemouth vs West Ham | PL | 22.11.25 | Prediction and Match Thread
The switch of Todibo with Kilman has definitely worked for Todibo. He was one of the few good standout performers and has been for the last 3 games. Kilman in the other hand has not seen an upturn in performance and looks a liability at times. A new CB in Jan would be handy. My opinion was also t...

Re: AFC Bournemouth vs West Ham | PL | 22.11.25 | Prediction and Match Thread
The Wilson sub was 9 mins earlier than usual. Was Nuno thinking that bring 2 up we needed to protect the “glass like” Wilson edoecially as he seems to be scoring a few? Over cautious ? Weve seen a lot of that from our managers down the years. Im guessing that was his rationale ( it backfired ) but...

Re: AFC Bournemouth vs West Ham | PL | 22.11.25 | Prediction and Match Thread
Bournemouth are a very good side and will make top 6 imo if injuries dont impact too much. Nuno’s only obvious error imo was removing Fernandes and not using Magassa to help stiffen up the midfield. He gambled on extreme low block tactics with numbers to simply stop the ball in and around our pena...

Re: AFC Bournemouth vs West Ham | PL | 22.11.25 | Prediction and Match Thread
We completely run out of steam at 60 mins. It was absolutely a point won thx to Areoka and Wilson because Bmouth should have scored 4 or 5 if Areola’s legs were so long. Nuno made bizarre subs. Weakened an increasingly struggling midfield. Thats why Bmouth got on top and rrmoving Fernandes was suic...
