Re: West Ham vs Liverpool | PL | 28.11.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

If Wilson and Summerville start, and stay on the pitch for at least 75 minutes, then we have a chance of getting something.  Nuno appears capable of learning from his mistakes (giving up on the inverted full backs being one of them), so hopefully he'll realise we need to keep a proper attacking thre...

Re: West Ham vs Burnley | PL | 8.11.25 | Prediction and Match Thread

Same starting line-up as last week.
I expect it to be a tougher game, Burnley won't come on to us the way Newcastle did and we'll need to find the gaps and break them down.
Providing everyone does their job we should win, 1-0, maybe 2-0.

Re: West Ham vs Newcastle | PL | 2.11.25 | Prediction and Match Thread

A much better lineup, if everyone stays focused and does their job we might have half a chance.
Wilson up top gives us an outlet and someone to aim for.
Defence is shocking though.

I'm going for an optimistic 1-0.

I fully expect our defence to make Calvert-Lewin look like prime Ronaldo (the fat one).
2-0, maybe even 3-0.

The line-up gives us half chance of creating some chances, unlike last week's.

0-2.
I can't see us creating much to worry their defence, and I can't see us keeping a clean sheet.

1. Dyche
2. Cooper
Dyche is being linked with the Rangers job, when it becomes available.

El Scorchio - I think Cresswells move to Stoke was a decent one for a player of his age. Coufals move was also pretty good. Can't disagree with the rest though. Couple that with the fact that we generally sell our players at a loss just highlights how shit we are at recruitment and squad management...

I think picking him to play on Saturday was more a message for Areola. His days are numbered and he can find another club.

Re: If Sullivan could be got rid of, who would you want as next Owner?

Right now, I'd take some sports washers - Newcastle style.  They have enough money to employ the right people in the top positions to make the right decisions.  Everything else then falls in to place.  Like Newcastle,  you wouldn't get instant or regular top 4 positions, but you'd be closer to the t...

Hermansen played the whole game with 2 keepers on the bench including Begovic who they signed a few days ago.
That would suggest that the fee hasn't been agreed, surely we/him/his agent wouldn't have wanted to risk an injury?

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

We've signed far worse players than KWP, for a lot more money and wages.

Whether he's a squad player or first choice, its not going to make or break our season. I would have been  happier if we could have included JWP as part of the deal and freed up some of his wages.

I guess he’s staying, at least until they’ve assessed his fitness.

Getting rid of those that have come to the end of their contracts is the easy bit, shifting the rest of the dross will prove much harder.

Re: Agent Fees

I'm surprised at how much Liverpool have paid over the last year, considering how few signings they have made.
A quick google only showed a keeper (30m), who was loaned back to his club, and Chiesa (12m) plus a handful of youths.

I thought ours would be higher.

Reasonably confident, based on the last two results.
Wouldn't be too upset if we get the same line-up.
2-1 (as I can't see us keeping three clean sheets in a row).
