Well after the disappointment of the Liverpool surrender-fest, next up it's the challenge of Man Utd away.

Amorim seems to have found a way to get them winning points, but their old challenges prevail, with unadventurous wing backs, a pedesitrian and hti and miss central midfield, and no consistent chance-creation plan.

Nuno has a reasonable record against Man Utd (I think I read somewhere) and despite the Bookies having made them huge favourites for this, this feels more likely to yield points than Liverpool.

For us, Paqueta is out. Summerville is out.  Rest of the squad is available.  Will Nuno give Luis G another go in the Sumemrville berth with Paqeta out and few attacking options available, or will he match up Man Utd with a back 3, and keep the improving Magassa in the side?  Can Wilson manage another game in such quick succession?

Predicted Line Up:
Areola

Wan Bissaka  Mavropanos   Todibo   Diouf

Magassa Potts

Bowen     Fernandes    Guilherme

Wilson
Subs: Hermansen, Kilman, Igor, KWP, Irving, Rodriguez, Soucek, Fullkrug, Earthy.

Predicted Scoreline:   I reckon we get something from this, although maybe a win proves beyond us?

1-1 (Bowen, Mbuemo).

That is our midfield picks for the rest of the season.

Kilman can sit on the bench, and so can Paqueta.

Kanye? Not sure how his teammates might react to his love for Hitler.

Agree with Scorch on the outstanding players but would add Areola:
AWB, Magassa, Todibo, Bowen, Areola all excellent tonight.  Everyone worked hard but we will continue to struggle goimg forward if we have to start Soucek and Wilson most games. Not that they were rubbish but both just hasnt got the pace needed at PL level although in dairness to Wilson thats not really his game being a target man.

Thought Fernandes worked hard and was busy but needs a bit more strength as ge us too easily brushed aside at times.

Still would have preferred Earthy to Irvine. Hopefully we see him soon

It wasn’t perfect, but in the end a deserved point. Magassa and Wan-Bissaka were superb.

Biggest irritation is they were on the ropes after we scored and he subbed a forward for a defender. I get it, but I’m not in favour.

Bowen, even on his off nights, is class. There are two ways to captain. You can be shouty and aggressive, or you can lead by example. He’s the latter, but so was Bobby Moore.

Last point - that Kante’s a big cսnt isn’t he! If he’s ready on ability, he’s certainly ready physically!

Yeah I don’t understand why he’s not had a bit more time TBH. He’s getting more and more comfortable each game. Potter would probably still be playing JWP for 90 mins each match and have Potts and Magassa riding the bench.

Mugassa awesome tonight.  Todibo also looking like the player we were promised 18 months ago.  Potts is a good player, but please dont let him take any more corners

Well we haven't grabbed many points at Old Trafford over the years so suspect most of us would have taken that tonight. Bit baffled by Nuno bringing Irving on but it worked! Best I've seen Magassa play so real positive him improving. Wan Bissaka brilliant although maybe fortunate to get away with that late challenge considering referees these days. Bowen back to his busy self. Todibo improving. Like to see more from Fernandes . So a few reasons to be hopeful but still in bottom three.

Word of credit to Diouf and the left side of the team - Diallo didn't have a sniff in that second half.

Really promising performances from Magassa and Potts as the midfield screen. Did really well.

AWB, Todibo and Bowen excellent.

This team has a bit more mettle than it did three months ago.

Decent point and more importantly a good performance with some stand out performances.  AWB was outstanding and without him we'd have lost this game.  Magassa looks like the midfielder we've been missing. Strong, athletic, wins possession.   Bowen worked tireless, Fernandes also impressive.

Can't complain about a point.
Need more upfront in January, a striker and a left winger as Summerville is a perma crock.
