A sending off at Annan 2 minutes before the start of the second-half. Wonder what that could be about? The Scottish Sun Non-League newspaper will be an interesting read tomorrow morning.

Celtic B sneak into half~time 2~1 up. Their goal scorer was someone with the fancy Dan name of Rocco Vata. Just emphasises the gulf between the teams.

"Celtic B at Central Park today and 3 points will put the COO very much within touching distance of the top 6. What a lovely early Christmas present. Have hung up the COO Christmas bauble this morning, in the window, pride of place. It would be good if the COO diaspora could make the third Saturday before Christmas, the day when all COO related Christmas decorations get bunged up. Send out a message."

"With all the postponements today, the COO remain in a respectable 13th position in the Scottish Lowland league. 3 points in the bag today and it would have propelled us into lower mid~table, but alas, Mother Nature had other ideas."

It just wasn’t meant to be in the end. What a ride though. Another one for the annals.

Why aren’t the Christmas baubles on sale via the club shop? I was hoping to pick up an away colours version this year.

"It’s got to be done. I’d love a proper coach trip up, couple of stops on the way, dispel a little of the over excitement of actually being there, and perhaps some over drinking to just get us all more in the mood at silly o clock. Central Park Stadium, just before kick~off. Oh my God."

"Six (SIX) nil winners, and back on the vidi~printer next week, and we’re into mid NOVEMBER. And this is the club everyone had written off? “ I'm justlike a whisper on the breeze Praying to the team oh don't say me I'm just like a whistler on the tree Praying to the breeze oh don't move me I've seen that silence can break your heart It's like a bond of iron we'll rend apart We sit her in torpor by our old fireside And just agree to differ --- Three cheers for our side You can laugh at danger all day long Still be laughing when the sun has gone Be wise to history Open your eyes and declare to me See them wending, never ending, smiling cheers You know that very shortly they'll turn to tears We sit here for ever by our old fireside And won't sing in spring --- Three cheers for our side Say not so long Sift through the sand Wave of the hand Goodbye” That’s what we’ll be saying, (well, not in so many words), to any club who thinks they can stand in the way of cup success for the COO this season. Bring ‘em on!!!"
