Agree on Statham and Neeson although old Liam is getting on a bit now. Pity he left it so late for the action genre as he was 54 when he made Taken.  I thought A Walk Among the Tombstones and Unknown were two of his better other ones.

A mate suggested Guy Ritchie's The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare the other day and I watched it last night.  I can find Ritchie a bit hit and miss at times but enjoyed this bloodthirsty romp.  Decent cast with Henry Cavill, the lovely Eiza González, and Jack Reacher's Alan Ritchson,

Yea you can't go wrong with Statham or Neeson, you know what you are going to get and can just sit and enjoy a film. A working man was good, maybe Statham's best for a while, and you always get a bit of humour chucked in. Was probably 15/20 mins too long though.

Hopefully Denis Villeneuve will direct it as well.

Doubt it mate.
He didn’t direct the second one, and reckon he’ll be up to his eyeballs with the third Dune.
Shame though, fantastic director.

I fink PRISONERS  has been his best effort...fine film that.
I wouldn't argue with that.

First two were well worth a watch!

Looking forward to its release.
Good news nuts .
I've been waiting to hear about Sicario 3

Both 1&2 were proper films.
I like  Josh Brolin when he sticks to what he does best.

Watched The Monkey last night. Was entertaining but I was a little disapointed for a King/Wan collaboration and had high expectations.  Probaly give it 6.5/10.

Saw Bonhoeffer yesterday. It was a bit disappointing in that bits of it were factually inaccurate, but it was generally ok if you like biographical movies.

Seems a bit like a comedy version of the Football Factory. Looked a bit naff to be honest, but might appeal to a few on here.

Taking the missus to see this tomorrow.

Will report back.
It was ok. A bit naff, to be honest. The treacle in it is a bit of a sort.

dragged across concrete is GIBSONs finest  effort IMO.

It's a good film, but one particular scene, let's just say I am glad I wasn't eating my dinner!
Bone Tomahawk is quality.

A modern classic
