"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Falace - haha that was me that let you have Gillislee. Fair play, that was a risk you took, and I'm happy to have Baldwin in the trade ;-). I saw someone left Kareem Hunt on the bench last night - 40 points!"

"Wish PP still done the double odds on 1st TD scorers if they get a second. On gillislee and gronk for first td of the second half too. As with before, gronk the larger bet."

"I don't think there are too many issues scoring points Mike, keeping them out is another thing, and a kicker who can kick when it matters"

"oh dear, I really like the defensive line coach who was at 9ers when they had Justin Smith. he's quality and will improve us a lot and it will be good to see how Allen gets on at DE. I'm glad Clemons was kept as he has a lot of potential and hopefully Swearinger stays healthy as he can be a good leader. the run game wil be interesting, loads of options"

"I'm always hopeful Mike, although I don't why The loss of Joe Barry is a huge positive but it is unlikely that you can create a new defence in one close season And now Su'a Cravens wants to retire after 1 season, probably had enough of Synder. Another wasted pick"

"No chance of a positive record for the niners, but not possible to be as bad as last year n0w we've got rid of kaepernick and the other clown and have changed the coach. Very good draft on paper, so we'll see."

"oh dear, all about how well Pryor links up with Cousins. It was an average preseason but I'm still positive. I think we're stronger defensively this year but the biggest miss will be Garcon"

"don't think the 49ers will be anywhere near as bad as last year, have the makings of a decent defence being built, and shanaghan is probably the best offensive coach in the game, Would of been decent to watch if they had someone other than Hoyer back there but he's solid enough to get them to about 5-6 wins and missout on the chance to sign one of the potentially elite QBs that are supposed to be in the draft next year."

"they have about 5 good running backs, most of them are pass catchers rather than runners though. Mike Gillislee will be the main running back, he was McCoy's backup in buffalo last year had about 90 carries but had the highest yards per carry average in the league. Expecting Chris Hogan to have a big big year this year, was more of just a deep threat last year with not many catches but the highest yards/catch in the NFL, he's built his rapport with Brady and now Edelman is out he is looking like stepping in as the slot/possession receiver but he can also throw a double move and be gone behind the defence for a long ball."

"Grumpster - are the 49ers going to be as crap as last season? I've not read too much about them. I'll probably be following the in-laws team again this year if that's the case (the CHIEFS!). Shame we let Smith go to them, as he'd walk into the 49ers team at the moment."
