NFL (since 2016)

"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"No dabbling again, but the first team TD players I gave to a mate to lose a fiver on were:- Freeman - Falcons 8/1 Bennett - Pats 8/1 Tyrek Hill - Chiefs 9/1 Bryant - Cowboys 8/1 Odds on Blount, Bell and Elliott now make them almost unbackable unless lumping on."

"Called the Cowboys, Falcons and Chiefs personally, though the Steelers/Chiefs game is as tough a game to call as I've known this season. Wasn't sure on Big Ben's overall fitness and this Chiefs defence is a lot better than last weeks mob. Literally could go any way in those bottom 3 games."

"The only reason the patriots dont beat the texans by 35+ will be out of respect for all the ex patriots on the texans, Last time they played pats had jacoby brissett at QB and the texans had JJ Watt healthy and it still ended 27-0 In the ither games im picking packers, seahawks and steelers, although id much rather the chiefs and cowboys win! Want no part of that steelers offense in the AFC championship or Aaron Rogers in the superbowl"

"In the bag bobby, the Texans are as average a team as I've seen in this round for a while. They must have been ecstatic when Carr broke his leg."

"Looks like a penalty kick for the Patriots this weekend, though the other games are all potential crackers. Bit of luck the Falcons will destroy the Seahawks and from a neutral's point of view, be lovely if the superbowl ends up with a shoot out between Brady and one of Rodgers or Ryan. 106 TD's between them this year and would probably be more like 118 if Brady had played all the games."

"Dont mind going for it, but hate the playcall thise 4th and inches i always say they should run a play action bootleg as the defence will always sell out to stop the run"

Best QB by a country mile and the only one who consistently throws a 50 yard ball to that exact spot when needed. Makes the cheat Brady look like a chump.

"Takashi Miike 12:06 Sun Jan 8e totally agree, his accuracy was beyond bad, Crabtree and Cooper did not help either. Great season and we probably over performed but such a dissapointing finish to it"

As a Miami fan I am lucky that I have learned to deal with this emotionally by living through the two West Ham Europa adventures of the last 2 seasons.

"Well my optimism has gone now.....! Cant defend the run or the pass, banged up defense or not! Know it was asking a lot to beat the Steelers, but fuck me the ammount of time they are getting...its like watching the irons!! Could certainly do with Marino, Duper and Clayton now!"
