"Dolph, really? Do you think this was a one off because of a thin squad ? The cսnt has played this way for as long he's been a manager FFS And this thin squad is precisely what he wanted. I hope he choke on his dinner tonight"

"Thin squad ? You for real ? You do understand a ""thin squad"" is ENTIRELY down to Moyes ?"

"We Were 8 minutes away from returning home with a 0-0 or seconds away from returning with a 1-0 deficit. What's he meant to do with a thin squad, away against a team who absolutely no one has beaten this season?"

"They should remove any conversation around a new deal if we lose as is expected next week by either announcing he is leaving at the end oft the season or by terminating his contract there and then. Frankly, I would do it before next Thursday, but maybe its fair to let him end our season first. Everything about last night was shameful. I can't wait to see the back of him and I'm sick of him arrogantly suggesting there is a contract to sign and it's he who is choosing to wait."

"Sullivan is, as others say, the continuing root cause of problems wth the club. Has he really stepped out of recruitment and handed overcto Steidten? The rumours that he vetoed the Osman deal on advice of Silkman at xmas? Just rumour ? They opted for Moyes pick Phillips. Older, experienxed and reputation. The past not the present or future. Will Sullivan be the real decider on Moyes or as repirted a board vote? Us older fans need to keep healthy enough to outlive our vertically challenged, narcissistic chairman. Real positive change may only be possible once Sullivan is dead?"

"Lee Trundal Bringing in the tea lady would be a better option than keeping Moyes till the end of the season, we are not going to be be in Europe next season and most of our players will be looking for a way out if he stays the conference cup win keep Moyes in a job nothing apart from the odd win against the top 6 has changed since last season . His comment stating that he would have taken a point for Spurs before kick off just shows his defeatist attitude."

We already have a foreign coach/manager with Moyes

"""Bringing in some foreign coach in my view is nuts. He'd have to change 2/3rds of the squad."" Good. Considering we have a playing squad of 14 players, and quite a few of those are getting on a bit, I reckon changing 2/3rds of our squad is about right."

""" We can't do a 360 turn on our style without a high risk of relegation""ù No, Moyes can't do a 360 turn on our style. Because he doesn't know how to. Other coaches can. Emery turned Villa around in like 1 season. Alonso has just done it with Leverkusen. All with less money than we've spent and lesser squads than we have to be fair. Moyes is the type of person that wants congratulations for putting out a fire he started in your house! Whether it's not using the jan window properly causing lack of squad depth. Or getting in a player at ridiculous salary who has barely played for 2 yrs. these are all unforced errors. But he wants us to not remember any of that whilst he puts out a defensive masterclass that sees us concede pretty much every game."

"Short of the Liverpool job our (pending) managerial vacancy has got to be one of the most exciting and desirable jobs available anywhere this summer. Premier League Exciting players (Bowen, Kudus, Alvarez) Likely transfer kitty of £150m Director of Football who knows his stuff London Our three years in Europe and ECL win has given us a high profile Quality youth set up"

Why could Potter do it but a foreign manager couldn't. I find that a really strange statement.

"Alwaysaniron 2:39 Fri Apr 12 Arguably we have got to change 2/3rds of our squad anyway due to the way Moyes has let it run down with ageing players and lack of numbers generally. Once the likes of Paqueta, Cresswell, Ings, Ogbonna, Zouma, leave an already depleted squad there is not much left. There is a very decent 6-7 players left as a foundation but we are going to need TS to work some magic with the Paqueta funds including a few decent 'frees'."

"Kehrer, Benrahma and Fornals situations weren't really a question of 'can we get replacements in or not'. All 3 had made their minds up that they wanted out because they were getting virtually no game time and not enjoying being at the club. They were simply desperate to leave and it happened regardless of us bringing anyone in. And Moyes created that situation. 4 years in and we still haven't seen his ability to make us pass an actual football or showcase any kind of movement off the ball. Pathetic. All we do is look to shut down an opposition. Anti-football verses teams that want to play."

"JWP has 6 goals and 7 assists in the PL. Considering he's probably played 15 games in his position, it's a very good return. The rest of the time he's been converted to the 34 year old Mark NOBLE role to accommodate the lumbering oaf soucek, and he has looked predictably dogshit."

"The biggest concern this club has is how we get rid of Moyes and maintain our premiership status whilst rebuilding a team that actually play on the front foot. There is nowhere to hide in the Prem; mid table obscurity in the Bundesliga, Liga 1, La liga etc is not the same as in our league. The bottom 3 in the Prem would be mid table in all of those leagues. This is the dilema facing the board. We can't do a 360 turn on our style without a high risk of relegation. None of us want that least of all the owners. We need someone like Potter who can use what we have and perhaps over 3-5 years slowly change us into the club so many of us want to see play. Bringing in some foreign coach in my view is nuts. He'd have to change 2/3rds of the squad."

What fucking retard at the club sanctioned the outgoings of Benrahma and Formals in Jan with no attacking replacements ? Beggars belief

Could imagine JWP going back to Southampton if they get promoted.

"Technically i think JWP is a decent player, we just don't use him in the right way. We have the spine of a team as good as any outside the top 6, and two or three that walk into most teams."

We need players all over the pitch. Every single position. GOALTENDER is only position where we might not need someone in over the summer. That's dependant on what happens to Fabianski.

"Realistically (or rather ideally) only the following would be first team players next season: Areloa Mavropanos Emerson Alvarez Kudus Bowen Several of the U21s should step up into the first team squad to join the likes of Downes, JWP, Coufal and Soucek on the bench (if they are retained) but we are going to need 5-6 decent new additions as a minimum."

"The real sad thing is that if we would have got rid of him when we should have, Oct/Nov 2022 when we were in the bottom 3 and were playing SHOCKING, and got the right man in, we would still have won the Intertoto Cup but at a canter, and we'd be pushing for the top 4 like Villa are, who were brave enough to get rid of their under-performing manager. Chance wasted, and now the new man is going to have a hell of a job on his hands, for a whole variety of reasons, because of the mis-management of our squad mostly to do with the manager. Zouma could go at any time, Aguerd is shit, Coufal is on the decline, JWP & Soucek not good enough to start under a proper manager, Paqueta off, only over the hill strikers. What a mess."
