"Wouldn't have been my first choice but you can't argue with a midfielder who gets 10-15 goals a season, which we havnt had for a while. I was hoping for Barnes too, Bowen Barnes and JWP getting 10-15 goals each. Chuck a decent centre forward in and you'd be confident."

Side we are a fucking shambles he’s chased the fella all summer ignored every other player that’s been put in front of him now we take a week to get the deal done when we’ve got no players for the weekend and he’s already played and probably the only player match fit Absolute joke

"Norf, the difference being the player wanting to go there and the club wanting him there…..all we ever hear is doubts from both sides of any deal….."

It‚Äôs amazing how we agree a deal on Tuesday with a bloke in Hampshire and we can‚Äôt get his medical complete and signed by Friday yet Bayern can agree a deal on Thursday fly a bloke out to Germany complete the deal so he can play on Saturday and the cսnt Will probably have won a trophy before JWP is actually signed it‚Äôs fucking embarrassing how we conduct business

Is this transfer actually happening? Kane flew to Bayern and a few hours later he's presented as their new signing. JWP has been with West Ham for 3 days or so....I can't comprehend how we string these things out.

"If we are about to get another massive payday by selling Paquetta moyes would be an even bigger idiot than I thought he was by not making a number of signings. Has the pathetic, dithering idiot learnt nothing about selling prices from selling Rice? Anyway when is sullivan going to use Steidten for transfers, after all the board did realise how crap moyes was in the transfer market a year ago."

After his medical is completed he'll be dual presented as our new signing along with Shaun Wright Phillips in the year 2033.

"I have just logged on and see that C&H are now saying 2Ward-Prowse deal settled2. Funny thought I! Only yesterday they ran an 'exclusive' that it was to be JWP or McTominay not both so I checked back. The 'exclusive' has changed to ""CandH Exclusive: Big Hammers midfielder signing date"" The story has changed to ""...they will add one of two midfielders to the squad within the next 72 hours!"" Apparently we are still in negotiations for McTominay and JWP and not one of either as they originally reported. C&H is almost as badly run as WHU."

He'd be stupid not to sign JWP. We're only a threat from set pieces.

Would not surprise me one bit if Moyes is insisting on holding out for mctominay. Completely unprofessional if he’s holding up JWP only to bin him off last minute should the other player be available. Reckon he wants mctominay Soucek and Paqueta as his three.

I heard he will join after the weekend as he wants to play one last game to say goodbye to Southampton fans. Club doesnt want to risk it though.

I wonder if WardProwse knows we are dithering or is it that he's not sure about the move so we are keeping our options open.

From ex-whu hopefully JWP Friday and Maguire at weekend-given the various stages of each deal but of course these are just estimates and not facts

According to a C&H exclusive we are having negotiations for McTominay and JWP but will only sign one of them. More dithering sounds like to me. Moyes can never make his mind up. Apparently we are trying to hijack the Kudus deal to Brighton too as Paquta’s replacement…

"None of us know how these signings will work out ( if at all) so lets give them a few games to get bedded in and go from there. In the minds of those not happy, who would/should be the realistic targets we should be hoping to sign?"
