Odds slashed from 5/1 to 7/2.
Watch this space.
I think we're fucked.

If anyone wanted a true guage of how far we've gone backwards in the past 2 years then the fact that Mavropanos' injury has now made us weaker defensively is really all you need

Igor will be a great fit for our team which is itself, due to lack of long term planning and switching managers and styles, the footballing equivalent of Frankenstein’s monster where none of the constituent parts fit together.

The Brazilian geezer Igor is in the bottom 1% in Europes top leagues for aerial ability ( winning duels) but converself makes a lot of tackles and interceptions apparently?
Got to be worth a shot and tbh we have little choice if, as expected, Newcastle turn us over
Let me get this right.
We have no center half’s that can head the fucking ball, no holding midfielder, no midfielder with any pace or legs and an old washed up center forward.
And we’ve needed these for fucking ages.
On top of that we have both our goal keepers that are glued to their line and can’t command the 6 yard box.
How the fuck does that happen to a professional football club?

Might as well give Igor from Young Frankenstein (Marty Feldman) a run out

Hard to see us getting out of this. Sunderland V Chelsea were all we are not ...commited have two decent strikers strength etc.
Think if Sullivan opens his wallet in Jan it confirms what we all said the PSR bollox was a lie and their one and only concern is to avoid relegation. Trouble is they miscalculated that the three teams coming up would be crap and would go back down again.
Cunts ...

Drop that French geezer and Bring in that Brazilian shit house as center back
Fuck the inverted full backs. Utter wank football.
Tommy as much as I love you, your on the bench.
Andy can take the high road.
Pottsy Ferendez have to start.
I think we we might have a chance at scrapping some points and start a run.

Sometimes you have to go down to come back, clear out the dead wood and prima donnas and get the spirit of the club back. No more tourists.
Hopefully Sullivan goes as well.

I fear even the Fizzy maybe too much for this utter shite squad, league one beckons.
Yep. Genuinely, I’m resigned to relegation and at ease with it, FC.
Was after the Brentford game, which was as bad as anything we saw under Roeder or Grant.
I’m angry about it, as any fan should be. And I hold this woeful, talentless board responsible. But we’re not staying up with this squad. And January will probably come too late to save us (plus, we don’t have any money).
A few of us on here called it just before the season started. In fact, probably many of us (so there’s no great kudos in it). This is a terrible, disjointed, rudderless and unmotivated squad of players with a (very) few gems in it. They have been poorly coached for years, and the entire club has been poorly led at board level for decades. Nothing at the club works.
The only thing that has a pulse at West Ham is the fans. And even they are fracturing because the picture is so bleak (which I think is sad).
Things will get better. One day.

Older posters here have seen this movie before and know how it ends. The passion and fight of supporters is irrelevant. The pampered, highly paid show ponies who represent us on the pitch have had enough, they just feel sorry for themselves, they can’t wait to activate their relegation clauses. Even if Nuno shakes off his stubbornness / madness, the dressing room is gone. All so predictable. My only solace is that it is clear for all to see how utterly venal and useless are Sullivan and Brady.

Hate to break it to you all but the club is in free fall, fuck knows where the bottom is, hopefully we can get a quick turn around in the January window but don’t be surprised if we stay stuck in the Championship or find ourselves in Div 1 playing Leyton Orient.
Club is a shambles.

The sad thing is, all the young talent is going to be sold off in a fire sale after relegation, they're the only players worth anything.
Can you point me in the direction of the “young talent”?
We don’t have much, if we’re being really honest.
We have a few experienced blokes who would fetch half-decent money: Bowen, Paqueta, AWB etc.
Of our younger players, only Summerville and Diouf would fetch good prices.
Everybody else is unproven, hasn’t played enough or consistently poor.
The inevitable fire sale that will follow the inevitable relegation will be quite quick.
Our bigger problem will be offloading the shit and detritus on big contracts who won’t get paid as much elsewhere.
These are the consequences of having an egotistical maniac with a Napoleonic complex in charge.

This has the same feel as the last time we were relegated.
Very poor the season before. No money to properly improve the squad.
Now we have a squad that lacks the guts to get itself out of the situation we are in.
Also, the 3 promoted sides are all competing rather than rolling over.
Not sure this can be turned around.
this is the 4th shit season on the spin, don't forget Moyes last couple of seasons (20 defeats and then 74 goals conceded the last year)

Does the rent we pay to use our "home" ground drop should we get relegated?
Maybe Sullivan, having exhausted all other options to raise more money. has decided that reducing the daily cashflow (at the expense of any potential annual profit) is the way he has to lead the club.

The great club that we used to have is now CANCEROUS, it has to be excised before we can move on.

I think that when a manager sends out a team with a right back at left back and a left back at right back, no striker and then at half time puts 3 defenders on when 1-0 down and then for the final 20 minutes puts a holding midfielder on for a holding midfielder you know there's a problem with the manager. The only team we have beaten this season was managed by our current manager.
But unfortunately, unlike last season, there are not 3 worse teams or squads in the division for us to escape relegation by. In fact a worse squad and a manager that has managed two teams in the bottom 3 does not make for anything other than relegation. Sad really. Still theres the Millwall derby to look forward to, oh, hang on the cunts won last night and are 3rd. Oh, well there's the big one against Stoke on a wet Tuesday night to enjoy.
It wouldn't even surprise me on current form if we don't see Big Sam rock up as a final throw of the dice come Jan / Feb
.
I can just see it now.
After being heavily wined and dined with Blue Nun and peppered Ragu his palms are heavily greased with silver by dildo Dave as he agrees to come back and burst those ruddy bubbles once and for all.
The West ham way eh

I've been saying since the last two seasons of Moyes that we are relegation candidates due to our horrendous transfer policy. We have progressively got worse since they cashed in on Rice.
It all boils down to one man. David Sullivan. His operating model is flawed and it will lead us to a second relegation in 15 and a half years since he became an owner.
So much for next level and a world class team in a world class stadium. He and Brady are lying charlatans.
