Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"Charoo 3:28 Fri Nov 11 Re: Moyes Out I would not disagree with what you say about Bilic its just a shame he couldn't sustain it. If Moyes went and Poch was installed I would be over the moon, sadly it ain't happen! Someone like Dyche most likely!"
Re: Moyes Out
"Lato - ""be careful what you wish for""ù That's what they were all saying about sacking Allardyce weren't they. He went and then that last season at Upton Park weren't bad was it under Billic, the style of play was fantastic. If it weren't for some shocking decisions in the run in, that team would have pushed for top 4 that season."
Re: Moyes Out
"an interview with anybody still connected with the club, on a prickly issue, is pointless. completely."
Re: Moyes Out
"Meerkat - I didn't read properly that we have been linked with Keane, I just believe that's a position along with CF we need to strengthen. Wouldn't be endorsing Keane. Although In fairness I wouldn't have endorsed Dawson but that worked out well. Hardly next level is it. That's the sort of signing for a relegation battle. I thought Moyes only wanted players that improve on what we have. I'm so sick of Moyes, I want him gone asap."

Re: Moyes Out
"noble isn't going to say one cross word about the manager until he's well and truly out the door. though i do worry that his appointment to ""sporting director"" is only on moyes' blessing and it's a tail wagging the dog scenario."
Re: Moyes Out
"Just watched Gonzo's video . Fuck me that was a depressing watch . Noble better be talking bollocks how anyone can think Moyes is turning this around is beyond me . yep- he talks a lot of sense kris, sadly, he's spot on"
Re: Moyes Out
"Centre back is exactly where I would be looking along with a Centre Forward. Ogbonna is finished at top level. Dawson been injured most of season and wants to go back up north which is agreed as long as we get a replacement. Zouma - got suspect knees Aguerd - coming off of surgery and never played PL football before. Kherer - clearly not a CB. Johnson - definitely not a CB If all fit which is never the case - Zouma, Dawson and Aguerd are 3 that can realistically do a proper job there in the PL - but with Dawson looking for the door, I'd 100% take another Centre Back."

Re: Moyes Out
Isn't Dawson due to leave and be replaced in January? Would seem reasonable to me if so.
Re: Moyes Out
"manuel, pickle and everyone else. I want whatever result gets him the sack tomorrow. it'll be very depressing for 6 weeks or until the end of the season. I just hope Maddison and Rice aren't injured by a stupid tackle or hamstring."

Re: Moyes Out
"manuel, yes Nick is on the same wavelength as me. virgil, not so much üòÇ alf, the last thing I think we need when watching us is another fucking centre half. I wouldn't give the cսnt another penny to spend until he improves the football"
Re: Moyes Out
Lots of noise about Moyes bringing in Keane in Jan? Well the only position he loves to recruit for is CB and we never seem to have enough of them :-(. But that tells me all I need to know about the change of style/ approach we need. Keane is just another old school type defender and does not play out from the back and about as technically gifted as Dawson with his passing and control. In short Moyes was all talk if this transfer happens. Perhaps he's now worried Aguerd can't handle the physicality of the Premiership without realising that playing deep and hoofing it for a counter attack is not his strength. Moyes will be here in Jan . Other clubs would have binned him by now. He has the 6 week mini season to save our season and himself. If Keane is brought in then we know there's little chance of changes needed being made. IMHO of course:-)

Re: Moyes Out
"Mummy's boy Noble has never had the fans back, he looks after himself first and foremost, always has. As for Gonzo, can't take him seriously, like you changes his mind daily, but he has a nice way about him that makes him worth listening to. Nick from claret and booze is alright, more of a straight talker but worth a listen."

Re: Moyes Out
"gonzo is like twoleftfeet on steroids, the way he flip flops about regarding moyes. he puts out a video today talking board puppet noble's appearance on talksport earlier this week, where he apparently said a slump was expected and there's nothing to worry about. a slump was expected, after spending over £160m? they take the fan base for fools"

threesixty 7:41 Thu Nov 10 Rice (England) Pacqueta (Brazil) Areola (France) Kerher (Germany) Fornals (Spain)? Fornals is an outside shot and I don't know if he got selected. Haven't seen Spain squad.

Re: Moyes Out
Sir Alf 6:24 Warburton likes to play football on the front foot...He was at Brentford in the early days of their chairman - Matthew Benham. His moneyball theory meant he favoured a high scoring team because players who score loads of goals tend to get sold for far more money than they were signed for. A competent striker at lower league level - let's say someone who scores 12-15 goals a season can suddenly look like Marco Van Basten in a free flowing team and score 30+ goals. It's a good idea - when done properly. It gets a bit more complicated in the Prem - but they seem to be doing more than OK so far.

Re: Moyes Out
"I dont think we've changed how we play. I think its the opposition that approaches us differently. If you sit back in two banks of 4 and your defenders are always in their own half, we will never score against you. Previously teams didnt respect us so they'd go at it. Thats why we used to get all these high scoring matches, 3-2, 3-1 etc.. we scored at least 2 in pretty much every game. Now there is no space out there. And we dont know what to do, hopelessly passing it back and around and sideways pretending to be decent. But dont know how to push forward in the final 3rd and still be comfortable. We should be spending this World Cup working out a new system of play. Should be like a pre-season. Only Rice is going to WC right?"

"Westside, Cheers for that bit on the share options. In that case, looks like G&S simply wouldn't sell up if we were relegated (long way from that, of course). Kretinsky would probably have to wait, or pay over the odds."

"we've pushed up from a low to a mid block at times this season, but as a result we seem petrified of taking any sort of risk in possession."
