It Wouldn't surprise me . if man utd did a juventus and pulled out the conference league. As it's the European transfer rules that are hindering them . Plus I can see them thinking there above it anyway. Lose Sunday and that will be that . 9th at best then .

If he has fully recovered it would be good to see Earthy given a start plus one or two other youngsters. As it is I expect to see the Chelsea youngsters give our oldies the runaround!

IF they lose tonight and we beat them on Sunday we will probably get 8th. That's not enough for Europe now anyways.

You'd hope they won't be on the beach. Chelsea are pretty much still in a battle with Newcastle and Man Utd for a European place. And we've still got a battle with Wolves and Bournemouth to finish top half. hahahaha - cheers Moyes.

Both teams in the beach imo... maybe they have something to prove and we have an outside chance of Europe if results goniur way? I'd love it *LOVE IT* if we beat them Sunday. Should give some youngsters some experience along with the core of usual suspects.

Thats the spirit Exile :-) Agree that its a tough one and esp if we have the Frankenstein like movement of Zouma alongside old man Oggy in central defence and Coufal against anyone quick. We could get ahead or whatever but 60 mins onwards as our old timers tire we invariably sink deeper and wait for Moyes to blow the cobwebs off Cornet or Ings or a young un like Earthy but then see Cresswell and Johnson come on to limit tye damage. I think that is sufficiently pessimistic ? Unfortunately also very likely to be what happens

"I fear we're going to get a spanking in this one - probably another five goals conceded. Chelsea will have more than enough firepower to break through our leaky defence. As for our own firepower, Paqueta has already gone, Kudus isn't firing. Bowen and Antonio can't do it all on their own. Come on then Sir Alf. Let's see if you can outdo my pessimism."

"I fucking detest Chelsea. Any Chelsea fan who wasn't part of the massive 8,923 crowd that turned up for the 1 -2 defeat by Coventry on May 4th 1994, is a plastic wanker. The turnout shows just what a small club Chelsea were when taken over by Russian mafia money, and started buying trophies."

Trundle They'll blame the speculation and the fans attitude to Moyes for the decline...

"Thankfully Wolves and Bournemouth have tough matches, otherwise we could have quite easily been bottom half of the table by the end of the weekend. One of the idiots who blindly follow Moyes on here laughed at me when I suggested we were going to tumble down the table the other week."
