"Oh ok, yeah we got more race swapping on the way along with disability inclusion and a gay storyline so can’t imagine it’s staying too faithful to the game for long, other than the main plot lines from A to B. If you noticed aswell Joel is being set up on the ships to be more of an asshole than the game so they can justify the part 2 abomination."

No. I pointed out the race swapping before watching. Other than that it was pretty true to the game and very well done. Unfortunately the second game went woke so it’s going to follow.

"Jaan, did you say it didn’t go woke? 1 episode in and it already has! This is possibly the most overrated game to tv show ever."

"Anyone seen the HBO mini-series from a couple of years ago called The Outsider, with Jason Bateman? Stumbled across it and looks like it could be decent?"

The Last Of Us. Never could get into the game. But the first episode is very good. Looks like HBO has another winner on its hands.!

One episode into Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches . Promising start but my wife Alexandra Daddario hasn’t got her fantastic Norks out yet.

"Lee, yes mate, only one episode in but it's done so well. I'd say it's got more of a I am Legend feel, than your typical slow walking zombie."

"I've pretty much had my fill with zombie stuff (thanks to the Walking Dead and how that went downhill so quickly), but I'm hearing really good things about The Last of Us. Can anyone recommend it on here?"

Just watched it. Glad to say there isn't anything else about the first episode to be critical of. Very well made.

Yeah I know the game. Was hoping it wouldn't go the same woke/diversity driven way.

"yes, Iain Glen's a great actor but seems now to be in his late De Niro phase where he'll agree to be in any old shit if it pays well"

"The Rig is absolute shit. Basically, it the Doctor Who episode The Curse of the Black Spot but stretched out from 40 minutes to six hours. Even great actors like Martin Compston, Iain Glen, Mark Bonnar and Mark Addy look bad and that reliably over-acting cսnt Owen Teale goes for a life-time best. The funny actress from Schitt's Creek who played the receptionist/manager is given lines to say that make her seem more wooden than Pinocchio. Plus it's unrealistic and woke as fuck. Half the crew are women and in the very first scene we find out, for no discernible reason whatsoever, that one of them is in a same-sex marriage. In the first episode all the comms go down, so who do they send up a two hundred foot ladder in a dense fog and in a storm just to check if the magic radio switch is turned on? Yes, the smartest bloke on the rig and resident comms expert who is the person on board who you can least afford to die. Fucking hell it was bad."

Same as that ray. Up until the Godfather I'd only really read football related stuff and the music press but after finishing it Iv'e had books on the go ever since.

"o1bb, it’s my favourite book, first read it in my mid 20’s, it was like nothing I’d read before, had a real impact on me. Have read it several times since, a true masterpiece."

"Bell Is all episodes out at once or week by week? The offer has been mentioned a few times here, quality show. We started The Recruit on Netflix, it’s decent, good story although a bit far fetched at times. But stil enjoyable"

The Rig is not bad. A bit like like Vigil but with a supernatural theme albeit ridiculous. Glenn and Compton and other good actors carry it of.
