"The excellent BBC drama 'Our Friends in the North' is currently being repeated on BBC4 and so is presumably available on the BBC iPlayer. It starred Christopher Eccleston, Gina McKee, Mark Strong and Daniel Craig before they all became stars. Quite a cast. It also featured Malcolm McDowell in an excellent supporting role as a 1960's SOHO pornographer/ gangster. And also Peter Vaughn and David Bradley who later appeared in Game of Thrones. A really top class show which I highly recommend."

I watched Mayor of Kingstown and it was watchable but not much more than that in my opinion. I just didn't get what Jeremy Renner's characters role was? Is he a crook? Is he police? Is he a prison warden? I just can't see what his actual job is and can't believe that whatever role it is exists in real life so for that reason I struggled with really buying in to it even though I watched the whole series and will still watch season 2. Funnily enough I spent 3 months in Toronto this summer as my daughter has just finished filming a movie for Disney and a lot of the crew had worked on The Mayor of Kingstown as that was also filmed there and none of them could really explain what his job was either......everyone was as confused as me!!!

"Dahmer on Netflix. 4 episodes in. Brilliant. Oddly enough, when I typed in ‘dahmer’ it auto corrected to ‘danger’ which has a rather poetic ring to it."

"Manuel, yes, an hour. Minx is a fairly good watch. Comedy drama about a feminist working in the 1970s porn industry."

Not sure why people rave about Mayor of Kingstown. Thought it was pretty average with a lot of unnecessary filler.

"Colly, watched Mayor of Kingstown on your recommendation. I looked up the reviews first and they were all terrible, as were the reviews for Yellowstone, also by Taylor Sheridan, and I loved that. Good to see tits on screen again, too. That always perks me up."

"Nearly finished the Newsreader on BBC I player. Really enjoying it, set in 1980's Australia it's a drama on how a TV news team covers the main stories from that time. I could never work in a newsroom too fast paced and cut throat for me, bit like working on the trading floor in the City in the 80's without the money!"

"Finished season 2 of The Morning Show. Loved season 1, but this one struggles, and is very mawkish at times. Jennifer Anniston is as gorgeous as ever though, so that helped."

Ted I still think its the best of the 3. I'm watching season 2 of a trashy series Blood and Treasure. Probably only as I want to smash Sofia Pernas into the next room.

Yeah OMITB is a good laugh hearted watch. S2 was better than S1. A few good old school actors. Makes a change from all the super hero and blood and guts stuff.

Just started season 2 of Only Murders In The Building. Good light fun New York murder mystery stuff with a good cast.
