"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

You might as well go for another New Jersey team but it'll only be for one week. Saw an interesting stat today. Dak Prescott leads the league in interceptions despite missing 5 games through injury. That's remarkable and doesn't bode well for him or the Cowgirls going forward.

Terrible performance especially from the special teams who are usually excellent killed us with two early turnovers inside the 20 Dak well off the pace not helped by having his centre and left tackle out Buccs who are by far the weakest divisional winners but seem to have a bit of a hoodoo over us hopefully put that to bed next week then I'm guessing eagles and 49's between us and glory tough with three on the road unless there's a massive upset

"I'm most pleased about Saleh's emergence as a proper head coach this season. He is still a bit rough around the edges, and by no means the finished article as a leader. But he made big gains this season (with the exception of the QB position, for which he does have to take some responsibility). I wasn't convinced by him after a poor first season on defense. But, despite many injuries, he still made our defense look really solid - and sometimes more than that - at times this season. He's no Adam Gase, that's for sure."

"A season of real promise for the Jets faded away into another year of obscurity on the back of a huge injury list and yet another crisis around the QB position. But there were some positives - crucially including the emergence of Rob Saleh as a credible head coach who has positively impacted on at least one key part of his team: defense, which really stepped up this year. There is a lot of young talent on that Jets roster and many of them will continue to get a lot better, which bodes well. It's still a young team. But the wheels fell off when opponents worked out that Zach Wilson has not stepped up at QB at all. So now he has regressed considerably. And then the big injuries - to the O-line and, most worryingly, to a RB rookie (Breese Hall) who was a contender for the pro-bowl and rookie of the year. QB is THE massive off-season issue for Saleh now. His defence looks big, aggressive and with depth. It is beginning to look like Saleh's former 49ers defense. Williams (DT) is an absolute beast now and teams struggle to handle him. So few teams thump us - lots of narrow defeats this season that could be reversed by a decent QB who gets the offense moving. Put us in the large group of teams with below-average QB capacity, who need an upgrade. Either Zach Wilson has to burst his own ego and work harder, or we bring in an established veteran to throw to a receiver set which has talent. Garrett Wilson and Elijah Moore are both fine targets. Play-offs will get interesting. No stand-out team just yet. The 49ers are rolling."

Big week for us away to Washington Don't really see the giants beating the Eagles but worst case is we'll play the buccs who are by far the weakest team but we just do not do well against them Although I have liked sone of the performances last few weeks it gives me confidence that we are winning ugly as I think that's something we haven't done in the past as we're usually either lights out smashing teams or losing. We're into the back ups of the back ups in the secondary and it's a real weakness with two of the starting O line missing but nearly every team has players missing so if we can stay healthy we could get a decent playoff run

"Def - amen to that! I was in NYC when the other Jets players started wearing 'Mike Fucking White' t-shirts. Superb bit of 'Carlton Fucking Cole' trolling of Wilson...by his own fecked-off team-mates! Loved it. The press saw it as a divided camp, but I was less sure. Seemed to me that the camp under Saleh is actually pretty united...with one high-profile exception. He needs to come back down to Earth, start showing he's a team player and develop a Brady-style work ethic."

"southbankbornnbred 1:37 Oh cool I don't mind Jimmy G, Funnily enough I was watching the games Sunday and it was touted on there that Brady might be looking for one more season somewhere, ok he might be old but maybe that's what Wilson needs, Jimmy G fits the bill as well. Mayfield works as well. You're right about Wilson though he needs a attitude change, the difference between him and White in love from his team mates is enormous."

Trunds - I think Jimmy G would do alright with the Jets. The fans in New Jersey would certainly get behind him: Italian heritage and all that!

"Def - the smart money in Gotham suggests we're going in for Jimmy G in the off-season. He's certainly better than what we have - but 49ers fans will raise a smile! Personally, I'd take a risk on somebody like Baker Mayfield and sit Wilson as the #2 behind him. But that kid has to learn some humility and start focusing on his team-mates."

"lab 1:20 - ag ag ag That's the only way we're going to get them at the moment. :) A much better season than we've had for years but could've been so much more, a lot in common between the Jets and WHU. Hamlin just been reading about him confirming the posts on here. I generally sleep through anything but I was up till 4AM this mornng as couldn't sleep and I don't support either team, I was just looking forward to a cracking game like everyone else. Anyway as for the Jets, the future looks green, just need that QB"
