"stowie's recommendation got me watching it, but anyone a bit bored by the money dominated premier league should have a look at the bunch of amateurs youtube channel, and in particular the two dorking uncovered series It follows the last two seasons for dorking wanderers in the national league south and their mission of moving one step away from league two. they're led by owner manager marc white and his volunteer management team, marc as you'll find out is quite a character. the first series episodes are much shorter (10-15 minutes normally) so you can get accustomed to the characters very quickly. I loved it and if the club crest makes you suspicious of marc, he's a self confessed wimbledon fan. what you have to take in to account most about this team, is marc started off the side in the depths of park football and has gradually climbed the ladder. "I give up on almost every “box set” I start. The only ones I’ve finished were Sopranos and The Wire. Not sure if I have a short attention span or if I just get terribly bored of the constant stream of contrived and consistently more ridiculous situations that most of these shows think up to keep people hooked. Homeland is a good example. Also, many of them are just dull or copycat shit. Quantity over quality seems very much to be the order of the day."

"Never heard of it until recently when a mate suggested it, but I am absolutely loving Schitt's Creek. For those not in the know, as I was, it's a US comedy series created by Dan Levy and his father, Eugene Levy. First episode I wasn't sure but as you get into it and get to know the characters it's an absolute hoot. Catherine O'Hara is absolutely brilliant in it, as they all arr. Can honestly say I don't think I've enjoyed a comedy series as much as this since Only Fools."
