"I finally got around to seeing 1917 on Prime (Netflix/whatever). Now, some may criticise it for being a load of badly-acted, far-fetched, artsy-farsy, woke crap. Maybe so. And some may consider the much-vaunted brilliant single shot technique just leads to half the film consisting of pictures of soldiers back-sides. True enough. But surely nobody could fail to be moved by that poignant CLIMACTIC scene. A shout for the film Richard Jewell which I saw tonight. Excellent direction from Eastwood as per usual and a very good watch.

Afraid so. Binge watch the lot.

Chill I've not seen any of the Chicago films yet. If I watch 7 is it going to spoil the others?

The Trial of the Chicago 7 on Netflix is superb.

Danger Close - Excellent action and based on true events. Good call Soldo.

Watched Outlaw King last night… telling the story of Robert the Bruce… thoroughly enjoyed it… far less bullshit than Braveheart… incredible battle (of Loundon) scenes.. 8/10 for me…

Watched Enola Holmes with my 16 year old a couple of weeks back. Was quite enjoyable

I can also recommend The Captain. Will give Danger Close a look tonight Soldo.

Watched a Kraut ww2 movie called The Captain at the weekend. Absolutely fucking brilliant.

Just Mercy is very good.
