"I can't say I'm totally convinced by Stranger Things. Season 1 was good but on 3 now and sort of watch it when there's nothing else that takes my fancy. Thought Sherwood was excellent and apparently there's a Happy Valley 3 on its way, if it's half as good as the first two it will be super!"

"Just binge watched 4 lives, I got COVID and we are still doing the isolation thing in Australia so im stuck at home!!! Anyway 4 lives is a highly recommended from me! Stephen Merchant gives a fantastic if frightening performance, just his look is suited to an oddball come psychopath character. Also finished the latest series of Peaky Blinders, its ok, a bit long winded at times, just as it gets going and interesting they seem to throw in a long scene that drags it back! Still reckon the first 2 series are on a different level, oh and the ending is disappointing if not a bit shit I thought?"

Never seen Mrs Biggs. I've sent you a link to the entire Yellowstone series.

"Four Lives is good. True story, some familiar faces in it. Yellowstone is on my list, still not got around to it."

"Manuel, stick with it. I didn't fancy it at all and only watched as a friend produced it. Great, albeit northern cast, and very good writing. It's going to get a Bafta or three, that's for sure. Not seen Four Lives, or even heard of it, so I'll look that up. Very much enjoyed the first series of Merchant's Outlaws, again on the Beeb. Not so struck with season 2 though. Seems to me it was rushed as the first series was so successful. Same thing happened with Killing Eve. Brilliant opening series, followed by a very poor season 2, where I gave up after 2 eps. Have you watched Yellowstone? That's a cracker."

"Alfs - I watched the first one but wasn't convinced so packed it in, the northern accents were grating me, maybe I should pick it up? I did watch the BBC mini-series 'Four Lives' about the serial killer in Barking, played by Stephen Merchant, it was good."

"stowie's recommendation got me watching it, but anyone a bit bored by the money dominated premier league should have a look at the bunch of amateurs youtube channel, and in particular the two dorking uncovered series It follows the last two seasons for dorking wanderers in the national league south and their mission of moving one step away from league two. they're led by owner manager marc white and his volunteer management team, marc as you'll find out is quite a character. the first series episodes are much shorter (10-15 minutes normally) so you can get accustomed to the characters very quickly. I loved it and if the club crest makes you suspicious of marc, he's a self confessed wimbledon fan. what you have to take in to account most about this team, is marc started off the side in the depths of park football and has gradually climbed the ladder. I'll attach a link to the first episode...... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kwjWtY6WnNI the channel has covered other teams, but the dorking videos are worth watching first"

"When I saw a 10 year old with midget legs, out running an adult, I was on the way out, but the whole Darth Vader/Obi Wan was the clincher, as it completely throws out the timeline with Star Wars"

Yes Disney has totally messed up Star Wars. I don't think the woke thing would have changed regardless who bought the franchise. Just sign of the times.

Council Scum 6:02 Mon Jun 13 I'm up to episode 4 now on Obi-Wan and as I disagree that it's utter shite I agree it's disappointing. I mean it's pretty average to be honest.

"""Can't see why they wouldn't have supported it."" they wouldn't extend it past the fourth series, it doesn't matter how good a product has been for them because they're main priority now is catering to cunts like you"

"Takashi Miike 1:51 Tue Jun 14 Ozark is one of their biggest hits - Ever. Can't see why they wouldn't have supported it. Also, the creators would have had no say in how it was broadcast. It's more like Covid disrupted the shooting schedule and Netflix were desperate to get it on air, due to plunging subscription numbers. As brilliant as it was, it was time for it to end."

"ozark was very much like that. because of a lack of support from wokeflix, the creators decided to split the last season in to two lots of seven episodes. It was great up to the mid season break, yet completely ran out of ideas by the finish. a shame"

"I give up on almost every “box set” I start. The only ones I’ve finished were Sopranos and The Wire. Not sure if I have a short attention span or if I just get terribly bored of the constant stream of contrived and consistently more ridiculous situations that most of these shows think up to keep people hooked. Homeland is a good example. Also, many of them are just dull or copycat shit. Quantity over quality seems very much to be the order of the day."
