"Or should i say they are attacking to get THEIR land back. Good luck to them. The World will watch and do nothing to help them as they always do, shame on us."

"twoleftfeet 6:21 Mon Oct 30 Given the choice to flee? To where exactly.. This isn't a football match where you pick a side and shout from the sidelines, this is a travesty that is going to bare poisonous fruit for everyone involved and probably us too. Simple comments like wipe them all oit just make you look like a thick cսnt."

I don’t reckon they clock up many air miles but there’s a serious lack of electric cars. I can’t imagine all those rockets are carbon neutral.

How are they with the Paris climate change agreements and global footprint?

I reckon Hamas might change their position once they know the gays are on their side. Same sex activity is illegal in Palestine btw.

"I think it’s right to say that the demonstration is intended to support Palestinians having the right to live a normal life whatever their sexual orientation. The current challenge happens to be the brutal Israeli military operation in Gaza last I checked, not what the Taliban did to gays in Afghanistan to intimidate the local population. Odd anyone would need such basic things spelt out to them."

Collyrob. If they feel strongly about it why can't they put their stickers or alternate posters elsewhere? Why do they have to deface existing posters of missing kids?

"Does that not make their point stronger? Even though the Palestinians don’t like the gays, the gays still think what’s happening to them is wrong."

I swear you couldn’t make this up. LGBT+ activists belonging to the Dyke Group have put stickers over posters on the London Underground showing their support for Palestine. Do these people not realise that if you were gay in Palestine you would probably be chucked off a roof.

"Good man, so we are in agreement that Israel is an ally and needs to win this war against Hamas. I disagree with you on the war crimes front, they do more than any other army have done to protect civilian life on the other side."

"Were these innocent children beheaded in front of their parents? The parents of the babies in Palestine were given the choice to flee, the Israeli parents were not offered that."

What this shows is I am interested in supporting civilised conduct and international law. Israel is supposed to be a democracy and a close ally - really don’t see what there is to debate here at all.

H&P If you don't engage in a debate or a proper conversation then I guess you can't be shown up for what you are... Clever tactic. I would suggest you listen to Richard Kemp who is a British Army Officer for the best part of 30 years and his take on the situation. He knows more about the laws of war then you or I or quite frankly most people in this world are likely to know.

I’d be delighted to hear from the Israeli government that it intends to observe the Geneva Convention to the letter as it swiftly resolves this conflict. And I would expect it to do so whatever Hamas or any other government happens to be doing. I’m not conducting a war-crimes prosecution here and am not debating this as if I was.

"Hammer and Pickle 5:09 Mon Oct 30 I didn't accuse you of either, I asked which parts of the convention do you think Israel ignores? I am interested to know so we can debate it out, maybe I will learn something..."

I very much think the problem is that anyone who expects Israel to respect the Geneva Convention is attacked by the propaganda machine as an anti-Semite and supporter of terrorism.

Turns out that Shani Louk was found beheaded as well. That's the type of people you're having to deal with. I couldn't care if they get bombed out of existence. The families that decide to continue to live above the tunnels that about being bombed are fucking stupid. They've been warned enough.

H&P What standards in the Geneva Convention does Israel not follow? Let's get into it.
