It will have been 16 days since we saw what football at the top end of things could look like by Arsenal, who made us look second class citizens in footballing terms.

This game is unusual this season, in so far as the bookies have us down as favourites to win.  Monday nigth, under the lights....but how empty will the bowl be.  With a boycott planned, kids for a quid, general sale tickets up for cheap, and Nuno's first home game, the atmosphere and attendance is anyone's guess.

Injuries wise, our Big Fucking German is big fucking injured again...reducing the options up front to the two Callum's.  Nuno chose to save ~86k in wages last time out, preferring the pace and mobility of Marshall over Wilson, and it will be interesting to see if he does the same thing here, or goes for a 'makeshift' centreforward.  And of course Soucek is back.

Other than that, there are no fresh concerns reported going into the weekend.

I don’t understand any of it. What on earth was any of the thinking behind it? The starting line up, the tactics, the substitutions. None of it makes any logical sense. It’s like every manager is on a mission to make us even worse than we were previously by using more and more insane methods to lose football games.

Kilman, Todibo, Walker-Peters (as a left back), Irving, Scarles, Marshall, Rodriguez…all Championship players, I’m afraid.

The two youngsters have an excuse: they’re young and should improve. KWP was out of his best position (but he’s physically so weak). The others should hang their heads in shame, considering the epic gulf between what they are paid and the utter shit they produce every week.

All members of the worst squad for many years.

I used to think football was simple. Just put the best 11 players you’ve got out on the field. If they get injured you put the next best one on. 
this wasn’t even a tactics thing. There are just better players to play in the positions out there. And not bringing on Wilson when we’ve barely had a shot. I mean, seriously?

this is going to be one of the toughest premier leagues on record given the quality of every team. You have to try and get points from every game. Even in October! The way this league is going it’s gonna be us and wolves cut a drift with no hope of getting out of the shit by feb. Can’t throw any games away experimenting. It’s not the time!

I still can’t quite believe what I’ve just watched. How were we just that bad? There has to be some sort of explanation for all that. It defies logic how he decided to pick those players in that formation. 

Nuno fucked that right up and is a fucking imbecile, but some of those players are a fuckin disgrace. I aint wasting no more time on West Ham. It's tedious.

I got the score right but expected a half decent performance.  We got the worst performance in a long while. Worse than under Potter

Deserved second for Brentford. We are a shambles from top to bottom as a club. We are in freefall to the Championship and with our owners and finances wont be coming back anytime soon. 

AWB and a few tried but looked second best. We are slow and weak in midfield, in defence and up top.  

We are tye worst team in the division and Nuno like many managers will find West Ham as a nemesis to their careers but he committed suicide. 

We should have lost that by 5 or 6 and that is no understatement.  

Its as bad as it gets to be a West Ham supporter these last few seasons and in 65 years Ive been following them we’ve had this far too mamy times.

That was atrocious beyond words.

One of the worst first-team performances I’ve ever seen. Truly, utterly abysmal from start to finish.

A group of barely Championship calibre players, hopelessly disorganised and clueless. They were physically, technically and intellectually inferior to Brentford by about six divisions.

And, today, managed by a guy making batshit and illogical decisions.

There’s no excuse for that management. Nuno should be ashamed of that line up he started with. He needs to be a thousand times better. And by Friday, too.

Everything about this team, coaching staff and club says relegation. It is nailed on as things stand.

Sullivan and Brady can fuck off - and take their incompetent, medieval practices with them. They are killing this football club.
