"Taking the family to Koh Samui, Iv been out there a couple of times with the wife before the kids arrived, 14 years ago now but guessing it’s probably changed massively in that time. Anyone been lately and can recommend any decent restaurants and bars suitable for families? my boys 8 and West Ham mad so we’ll be watching the Utd and gooner games. Any decent excursions etc? Any info much appreciated."

"Been twice to fisherman's village, both times with a few nights over on Phangan. Had a fishing trip booked the year COVID invaded so put it back a year, only to have to cancel it again. Determined to get back at some point. Stayed at Peace resort the second time which was lovely, only problem was getting in the pool was like a lukewarm bath."

"Last time I was there was 2007 so even further back than you so certainly can't reco' anywhere, but I doubt it's changed massively though somehow. What beach you staying in, Chaweng? There are tons of bars and pretty much all friendly with good vibes etc, and fine for kids, it's not like you're going out in Romford, so I wouldn't be worrying about that."
