Not sure about ‘new-found’ in relation to Spurs - goes back at least to the 90s, and I’d think before. Due mainly to rarely being in the same league as Millwall for most of the time since, added to them nicking a lot of our good players (Peters, Allen, Defoe, Kanoute, Carrick, Parker, etc…), the Essex co location with the fans, and the fact that they’re massive bell ends.
Every London club dislikes Spurs (apart from maybe Fulham)
No issue with disliking them.
I dislike them. I dislike Chelsea and Arsenal too.
But hatred is reserved for Millwall.

What is it with this new-found hatred of Spurs?
Sounds like some supporters are being led by the nose by the media.
Millwall is the only team West Ham have any animosity towards and that is deeply rooted in their respective communities dating back to 1926 - and no, it's not "old hat" that the arrival of the Premier League has swept away.
It's tradition. Proper working class tradition about an event in history that not even the wokiest wokee can change to protect their feels.
Millwall is our biggest rival, but ridiculous to state the only one we have animosity towards.

"It's an Essex thing."
Can we blame the Germans then, for their 1940s East End surprise slum clearance policy?

Out in the real world, I have many friends who support all different teams, especially London teams. When it comes to talking football with them, though, Spurs supporters are pretty much the only ones I have to give a wide berth to in that respect. Even Arsenal and Chelsea supporters I can have a vague and civil conversation about football with. Got a Fulham mate who makes me have a soft spot for his team with his humble and dedicated attitude to them.
Don't think I've ever met a Spurs supporter though who doesn't turn into an arrogant, stupid cսnt when it comes to talking football, though. Even Tottenham mates who are good mates turn into complete pricks when it comes to football. They seem obsessed with West Ham and their football support seems more based on West Ham living rent free in their head than supportering their own team. It's hard to imagine a Spurs fan making me have a soft spot for their team, let alone making me call them my second team.
But do any of those London club supporter say their second club is another London club???? I'd find it very odd if they did... but then its bullshit and Ladyboy is just trolling this site with her vile Pro-Spurs shite... needs sorting Admins!!!!

If you want to enrage a sp*rs fan, tell them that they aren't a big club like Arsenal. They are obsessed with this and in all arguments with West Ham fans at some point they will talk about how big they are compared to us. They claim to not give a fuck about West Ham, but hate us as much as we hate them.
At 44.00 They've just won WHO'S cup final?

Aren't Stonewall a Sunday League team?
It's like me saying my second team is the Lord Nelson, who play on Hackney Marshes.

If you are referring to me then you need to be corrected, I am over the moon
as for the Spurs keeper who cares, that said I thought a lot of Spurs fans didn’t rate him ?
Why is it ladyboy you know so much about Spurs fans... but as youve already admitted they are your second team... like any other real West Ham fan would admit to that!!!!
I am surrounded by Spurs fans, including my bosses at work and I get the opportunity to sit in their corporates for free.
Do I hate them? no because it’s only football!but I do have a tendency to want all London clubs to do well!
and I have already stated on here that my 2nd team is Stonewall FC
You see Ladyboy lies always tend to catch up with you as you stated in your creepy stalkerish who mail... Spurs are your second team or is it Stonewall FC, Oh you cant remember what you said the lies are all unravelling around you.. fuck off you sad twisted weirdo!!!!
