They got beaten 4-1 at home to lowly East Stirling. If you subscribe to Blue Brazil TV on YouTube (for free) you can watch highlights.

I was so depressed about the football yesterday that I forgot to check the Cowdenbeath score.

Cowdenbeath 1-2 Broxburn Athletic. The Blue Brazil took the lead in the first minute through none other than Jack Denham.

𝐂𝐎-𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 Fans may be aware that in season 2025/26 a new Co-operation Agreement scheme is being piloted by the SFA with the aim of helping the development of young talent in the Scottish game. Recently Cowden manager Paul McLean and Colin Nelson, our Director of Football Operations, travelled through to Motherwell for discussions with senior representatives of Motherwell FC. Following this meeting and ongoing discussions Colin provided an update as follows: "I'm absolutely delighted to confirm we have entered into a co-op agreement with Premiership club Motherwell. It's something we have worked on throughout the pre-season. Motherwell as a club really are at the forefront in Scottish Football in developing young talent. We are really delighted they have chosen to collaborate with us in this venture. There were already good and open communication lines in place between us and going forward that should stand us in good stead on an ongoing basis for future working. The Cooperation Agreement builds on this and the aim of course is that the players involved and both clubs derive benefits from this link-up. As a club, Cowdenbeath FC have benefitted through our past links with Motherwell especially in the case of Olly Whyte who was our Player of the Year last season. Before that we had Adam MacDonald and Robbie Garcia at Central Park. I'm therefore pleased to announce we have arranged with Motherwell to now bring two players to Cowdenbeath under this new Co-operation Agreement. The players involved are defender Scott Williamson (18) and forward Nathan Lawson (17). I would like to thank Motherwell and their people for entering into this Co-operation Agreement with Cowdenbeath FC and for placing their trust in us to work with some of their talented young players."

A toughie on Saturday, early league leaders Clydebank away.

I didn’t realise they were a phoenix club, with no link at all the old Clydebank.

LETS DOWSE THOSE FIRES
