That's been happening for the past 10 years anyway. Don't at all miss those fun-sapping cunty weird Checkpoints (the only fucking Club that has to put up with it post Olympics 13 years ago now!*) before you even get to the turnstiles so to queue up all over again.

Re: Time for massive protests against David Sullivan!
Takes someone with real special needs to propose recreating the Hillsborough disaster to protest against the club ownership.

I suppose we (yes! we, for the hard of thinking) could all turn up en mass at the gates 10 minutes before kick-off.
Bit of shouting & jostling (but no pushing forward) could convince the police/security that another Hillsborough is on the cards and they'd (have to) open all the gates and let people in without checking their tickets.
Would piss all over their ID (card) requirements, that's for sure.

Re: Time for massive protests against David Sullivan!
The protests are easily avoided. All it takes is for the dwarf to see sense and put the club up for sale at a sensible price. And until he does so the protests need ramping up .

Re: Time for massive protests against David Sullivan!
A mass walkout would be effective visually, but we already did one of them around 55 mins in the Chelsea match, unfortunately. Likewise if it doesn't go well against Brentford it would be construed as a reaction to the game/team rather than the owner. A boycott of the game makes a lot of sense and makes things totally clear.

Boycotting a game seems excessive and unworkable.
That would mean arriving early for many people

That's been happening for years anyway in both halves.
Re: Time for massive protests against David Sullivan!
Taking you seats late is a good call. I'm always happy to spend another few minutes supping and the empty seats at kick off would definitely be picked up by the TV people.

Spurs would be a much stronger message.
People don't want to miss our cup final.
Brentford game is an easy miss. Probably be a borefest anyway.Correct, there is no way I would miss this game in a million years.
If anything Spurs giving us a thrashing in front of a full house may ignite our fans to do something on the day, in front of the cameras.
For me it's a win win regardless of the score.

let's hope the Airlines & Eurostar have decided to strike... that'll hurt them.
Re: Time for massive protests against David Sullivan!
Spurs would send a stronger message, but people won’t want to miss that on the off chance that we might actually beat the cunts. Brentford being a tv game will still send a strong message, providing there’s a decent enough uptake of people willing to do it.

Football is performance based. If our form improves and we get say 7 points out of the next 4 games I don't see it gathering the momentum it needs.
Presumably far more time to get the message out there to people and for press coverage, and to make the board sweat. Plus it IS a game people may be more inclined to miss- to add it's the only football that day so should be a bigger story that way than amongst stacks of other games on the same day on 13th. Although if Bruno Fernandes takes an unusually large shit, that will be a bigger story amongst most media outlets.
Re: Time for massive protests against David Sullivan!
Hate Brentford and their fans. Next down from Arsenal on my list. Most of them are Arsenal fans that can't get tickets for the Emirates. Or they're urban middle-class dads want to expose their sons to and edgy environment and choose Brentford because it's most like Arsenal and they can get tickets.
Gladly fuck that one off boycott or not.

Re: Time for massive protests against David Sullivan!
Not as easy as you think.
Some (even on this site) believe that giving Sullivan money and supporting him is the same as not giving Sullivan money and supporting him, and that they have every right to do what they want, when they want and, especially if it involves personal sacrifice, fuck everybody else.

No going back now with so much ground work done to set up the upcoming protests against the Board. Media are right on top of all this now and reporting it.

This in the Guardian today, so a bit of profile amongst the beardy sandal wearing intelligentsia. Hopefully they’ll be up for kicking the board’s collective arse.

Good good. Come on you Irons!
We now have no choice but to issue a “vote of no confidence” in relation to the Board’s management of the club.
