Mass march planned against West Ham owners before Burnley. West Ham badge change demand confirmed.

Hammers United have confirmed timings and the route on its official website and is calling on supporters to add their names to the 16,000 who have signed the petition against the ownership.
The group is also calling for the board to change the club’s badge back to just ‘West Ham United’, losing the controversial ‘London’ wording added by Brady when they moved from Upton Park to the London Stadium.
“Now For the good of the Club, the fans, the players, and everyone associated with West Ham United, the BS has to end,” Hammers United said in a statement.
“The No More BS campaign calls for BS to resign from their executive roles at West Ham United. It is within the gift of BS to do this. And it is incumbent of the remaining board of directors to appoint competent, professional replacements.
“Failure to act is not an option.
“On Saturday 8th November, thousands and thousands of West Ham fans, young and old alike, will come together as one to march from Stratford Station to the London Stadium where we will hand in the West Ham Fans’ petition calling for Brady and Sullivan to go.
“Saturday 8th November is the day that we, the Claret ‘n Blue Army, the voice and heartbeat of our Club, the loyal and long suffering fans who for decades have supported the team through thick and thin, take our greatest step on the journey to getting back what has always been ours: West Ham United Football Club.
“You’ll notice there’s no London in this name. We are West Ham United, and that’s what we want on our badge!“
Ahead of the march, we want as many West Ham fans as possible to sign the petition.”
West Ham Fans to March on London Stadium in Protest Against Sullivan and Brady

Hammers United have announced the official route for their planned protest march ahead of Saturday’s game against Burnley.
The march will begin outside Stratford Station at 12:30pm sharp, finishing 45 minutes later at the Directors’ Entrance on Marshgate Lane.
While emotions are expected to run high, Hammers United have stressed that supporters remain fully behind Nuno Espirito Santo and the team, promising passionate vocal support once the game kicks off.
“This Is About Getting Our Club Back”
HU co-founder Paul ‘Bubbles’ Colborne said:
“This is about getting our club back. We want David Sullivan and Karren Brady to resign their executive positions and put competent football people in place to run the club.”
The protest will be fully marshalled and has received official permission from the Metropolitan Police.
Bubbles added:“We need all the help we can get. This is a fight for the very survival of the club — and we might not get another chance.”

I don't have much time for the TOWIE lot, but must say Mark makes a good point regarding the fans not protesting when things are going well.

On the badge issue, I've seen absolutely NO evidence that having "London" on the badge makes a positive difference.
People around the world who follow football, and in particular the PL, only know the top 6 teams solely on account of they get so much media exposure, not because of their name/colours. the 14 others - including us - are irrelevant sides making up the numbers so that the media darlings can whip them weekly.
Those with less of an interest have, more often than not, never even heard of West Ham, with or without the "London" addition.
It seems to me a simple attempt at a marketing exercise done by someone who clearly doesn't understand marketing (or what attracts global attention in the football world).
Continuous on field success is what brings in the fans (& their money). And to achieve that requires investment in our core product - the squad - not in what they wear.

Couple of murmurs saying Sullivan might can Brady. Is this the last act of a desperate man? The final and ultimate bus throwing? He's nowhere to go after that if he goes through with it. He will be fully exposed.
Can't see that ever happening. She'll simply release the (#MeToo) details on how they first met and a subsequent partnership developed.
Yes, he'd have to be right in a fucking corner considering the potential fallout of doing that.
By all accounts - Potter's appointment was entirely on Brady despite the diminutive one not being convinced. There were rumours he only wanted him to the end of the season and then decide but in the end he still signed off on the 30 month contract. Whether that it the truth or not who really knows unless at this stage the old fart must be so paranoid he suspects her of industrial sabotage!

Fully exposed? He's the owner of a football club, not the final boss on a video game.
OK, there will be no-one else to hide behind in terms of culpability. You know what I mean.

I do wish I could go to these protests! I want those horrible cunts out of our club like nothing else. Well done to all who showed up it makes a huge difference and it’s getting decent media coverage
Cheers nychammer. There are proper supporters like me who turn up to these things with Bubbles and One Iron et al and there are weirdo angry hermits who purportedly hate the owners but would rather bitch and whine on an internet forum rather than get off their arse and make a stand.
I know which has the more integrity.
Which has more "integrity"?:
Going to a protest and giving Sullivan your money, or,
Not going to a protest and not giving Sullivan your money?
That’s a fair point actually, how many of those protesting went to the match and bought a pint? So those of us that didn’t go are actually causing more harm to Sullivan than those that did

Not sure about 'Integrity', but certainly when considering which is more likely to contribute to bringing about change...
Personally I'd say 1. I mean 2 is not really any different to the fans of every Club who aren't West Ham. 1 is is actively campaigning and being part of a movement taking action.
There seems to be this idea that buying stuff from the Club hits Sullivan in his wallet. It doesn't. It harms the Club way more than it harms Sullivan...he has very little tied up in the Club really...it's mostly an asset to him. The seats are all sold whether you go or not, the match day revenue per fan isn't all that large.
To be clear, I'm also in camp 2...mostly because 'life' gets in the way of being in camp 1. But I don't consider my being in 2 as contributing to the cause or some moral stand...it is just circumstances and I too my proverbial cap to all those taking positive action.

I couldn't get to this as I had to support my daughter in something. But it looked a big success and got good coverage. Needs to be kept up.
