Well next up the Bin Dippers. Two ideals go to head to head in this match....The ideal time for us to play Liverpool after an horrific run of defeats and confidence at an all time low....and the ideal club for Liverpool to face to break their rut, with our unmatchable ability to fold in the face of reputation.

So who will prevail? The bookies certainly favour the Mickeys, making us about 4/1 to pull it off, and them odds on. But we're 3 unbeaten and approaching something close to a 'run of form'.

Mavropanos is back available, as is Fullkrug, Guilherme who subbed off for a rolled ankle was seen in training....but Summerville was conspicuous by absence, with Nuno characteristically coy on his Availability.

With Paqueta back from suspension, Wilson in fine form, and a more settled midfield, there is at least hope that a dysfunctional Liverpool side can be bested and we can give that big bald head of Arne Slot an almighty Tango-esque SLAP!

Predicted LineUp:
Areola

AWB Mavropanos Todibo Diouf

Potts Fernandes Paqueta

Bowen. Wilson. Guilherme (Summerville if fit)

Subs: Hermansen, Igor, Kilman, Magassa, Irving, Rodriguez, Earthy, Soucek, Fullkrug
Predicted Score: West Ham 1-3 Liverpool (Wilson) (Salah 2, Ekitike)

Desperately hope I'm wrong, but there's no better team to play when in the doldrums than the Claret and Blue gift.  Maybe Nuno can dispel the evidence of history, and stick one up them, and send them back with nothing but a few hubcaps! COYI!

Never been a better time to play them, they are in dissaray right now. However, as West Ham fans, we all know that they will re start their season with a thumping win.

That's what my logical head is telling me.
The romantic fool in me believes it'll be a 2-2 thriller.

Inviting endless pressure trying to keep them out would be a real worry. Don't want to see him reverting to 5 at the back and thought he tinkers around with formations needlessly at times. Flat back four should be left alone. We have goals in the Team, so trust and encourage them.
You are absolutely correct, but my prediction is based on last match second half. Our team is mentally weak and the manager does not show any faith in them. Unfortunately!

Even when one of them scores 2 goals in a 1st half. 😆
Yes, even then 😂

If we respect the name rather than the current situation at Liverpool and go backs to the wall rather than at them, it will be extremely disappointing.

Never been a better time to just have a pop at them.

If Summerville is unfit then EARTHY has to play,I'll play EARTHY from the start,he's in form and Summerville not, none of this left back pushing up crap.Diuof is better attacking from left back not left wing and KWP is bang average.
We can win this if we attack their vunerable full backs, expect a couple of changes with their best player Sloz in midfield, one booking away from suspension,so for once Paqueta can dive over as soon as he approaches.
We attack 2-1 we do a Nuno calamity 1-4 or 1-5.

Nuno appears capable of learning from his mistakes (giving up on the inverted full backs being one of them), so hopefully he'll realise we need to keep a proper attacking threat on the pitch to take the pressure off our piss-poor defence.

2-1.

So Nuno is getting credit for "learning from his mistakes".

A competent football manager would not deploy such idiotic tactics like "inverted full backs" in the first place.

The bloke lost two winnable games deploying such stupid tactics.

If we can't beat this Liverpool team that is woefully out of form then we have no hope.

I predict an away win, but I hope I am wrong.

One thing is for sure. Under Potter I was not only dreading games like this, but also even games against palace, Brighton, Villa. I was dreading the Chelsea game back in August before a ball was kicked.  I’m not dreading games any more under Nuno.

Without a doubt Liverpool are there to be got at, we’ve got a good chance to pull clear of the relegation battle but only if we’re on the front foot. I don’t want to see Nuno trying to close the game if we do manage to go in front, he’s got to learn.
Hopefully 2-0 but only if Nuno gets it right, if he doesn’t scouse Christmas could come early.
