Re: Moyes Out
"Last night's great performance doesn't change Moyes from being Moyes. We have 8 players capable of playing entertaining football. It's not sustainable though. Not using the bench when the midfield was crying for fresh legs, and almost imploding last 15-20 minutes. Love West Ham, hate Moyes"
Re: Moyes Out
"thought we played well tonight, only watched the highlights mind. It was all about taking chances which we did and they didn't. Both defences were very obliging and it very well could have been 4-3 and if there's anything to pick on it was letting them back in it at the end. Good and deserved result, positive performance and decent entertainment though, and that's what matters at the end of the day"

Re: Moyes Out
"Has to be said, that through his time with us, he's always been able to turn up the results when the chips are down. I can honestly see him walking away with his head held high at the end of the season."
Re: Moyes Out
"That's the biggest problem really. We know the team can turn in performances like that, and it makes the ultra defensive approach even more frustrating imo. Funny that those of us (you know, the miserable pricks) who want Moyes out are called out for wanting him out after a series of abject performances, but those that want him in (no name calling from me) see tonight as some sort of finger pointing victory against the Moyes outers. Strange. I'm still Moyes out btw. I was there tonight, good atmosphere and performance. Last 10 minutes or so were very ropey."
Re: Moyes Out
"Oh dear what a terrible performance for all you Moyes out, doom and gloom merchants, negative miserable pricks and anti West Ham Internet warriors.....ALL HAIL THE MOYESIAH"
Re: Moyes Out
"Most of that performance was good... played with intent right from the start which was very unlike the majority of performances this season. No doubt that is only because of the flack Moyes has received, no way would he have sent the team out like that given the choice. Also proves (as we all know) that this team is more than capable of playing on the front foot if allowed. If anyone thinks that Moyes wouldn't gradually revert to type one he feels any pressure is off him then they are deluded. He obviously won't go during this season but Sullivan needs to stick to his guns and put TS in sole charge... thank Moyes for the ECL Trophy and move on."
Re: Moyes Out
Threw in the obligatory references to Europe and West Ham being relegation candidates before his arrival in his post match Sky interview . Also said we have played well all season except for the last month .

"Moyes has got more lives than 1 of Kurt Zouma's cats, so I'm fully expecting a win tonight. Better be worth going for once, as it's fucking chapping outside!"

Re: Moyes Out
Seems even more bizarre to make him a coach (he isnt a coach) of Steidtens choice of players All that has meant is he ignores players and puts square pegs in round holes Get Steidten to find a manager and work with him on putting a squad and team together in a style they agree on Hopefully tonight we see players in their right positions and a balanced line up .... ie not right backs at wide left midfield and TOTEM POLES like Soucek as a no.10

Re: Moyes Out
Just seen the article/interview on the Beeb Sports page. It smacks to me of doublespeak! The reason he is waiting until the end of the season is that the terms are so heavily caveated that the contract is not available to him if we do not achieve certain goals. These probably include European football next season. We'll see.

Re: Moyes Out
"i think if it comes to it, Moyes will sign anything that keeps him in the job, even if his job title is ""David and Tim's bumboy fluffer"". he knows he won't get a job anywhere near as good anywhere else like i linked here (https://twitter.com/judge_shredd/status/1761405400421712150), even the pundits who go in to bat for him know it too. He'll be hideously exposed as soon as he doesn't have the likes of paqueta, bowen, kudus and the like to lean on, and he is 100% aware of it."
Re: Moyes Out
Why bother offering Moyes ANY contract. The fucker might call Sullivan's bluff and sign it! We would then be stuck with the miserable shit for another 2 years with him refusing to play any of the players which he hasn't personally approved... sounds like a recipe for disaster if you ask me.

Re: Moyes Out
Russ just found it... He doesnt mention a single West Ham player that he has recruited or brought thru the academy only Everton... the guy has lost it... surelg we could just pension him off with the amount of evidence we have of his senility....

Re: Moyes Out
"Russ of the BML When did he say this I assume when he was at Everton? .. utterly barking mad if not!! ""I've always been involved with recruitment. Always. If you don't recruit well then you probably won't be doing your team any good. You don't get them all right. But I've done well.... Tim Cahill, John Stones. Arteta, Pienaar, Lescott. People through the academy like Ross Barkley."""
Re: Moyes Out
"I have suggested a couple of times why Moyes wasn't accepting the contract offer including yesterday""¶ I'm surprised that it seems to be a surprise as surely it was obvious? Willtell 4:39 Sun Feb 25"

"Russ what an utter nugget he is, always referring to us as the third person and once again putting us back in our box, labelled small club wannabes. He's a typical narcissist and totally consumed with his own ego, he makes Allardyce look bashful by comparison"

Re: Moyes Out
RB Leipzig have a head coach. I'd love for someone to ask what he learnt from the time he spent studying them. He seems to always do the exact opposite of what they would do.
