If ever a manager needed to win an away game against one of the sky 6 it's Moyes . I fully expect him to set up in exactly the same way he's always does with Bowen and kudus isolated and his best midfielder shunted out of position out on the left again . Purely in the hope soucek can get a goal out of nothing. This lot are eminently beatable they play a suicidal high line which any decent manager would try to exploit with pace . But I fully expect Moyes to shit himself as usual 3 1 vermin .

"Moyes entrrs coaching meeting"" Och, now lets start planning for the next game against Fulham"" ""Errr, were playing spurs first on Thursday Boss"" ""Aye, but I'm swerving that one ye ken. Spurs are one of the top 6 sides, did ye no see them play against Citeh. No, we'll bin that one, kerp the score respectable and move on"" ""Ok, boss, how are we going to combat the flying full backs at Fulham, they caused the scousers all sorts of problems. ""Aye, right enough Kev, lets leave that one but our low block and maybe a corner from jimmy prowse and big Souch gets on the end of it we could smuggle a wee point. Anyway top half of the table and winning the group in europe. Were doin fine."

"Mubama (and Johnson) start for the u21's tonight in the EFL CUP. bloody hell, doubt he will be on the bench on Thursday. Shows he still values Ings more. FFS this is beyond ridiculous. I'd rather watch the u21's tonight than Moyes XI."

I predict Steve Jones will score the first in the 38th min and will do one of the best knee skids since Pete Townsend on the Wont Get Fooled Again video.... then Stabby Morley will get a couple his first a penalty in the 60th min his 2nd in the 73rd min sandwiched in between was a penalty by Sir Ted for the Bagels... then we will notch a 4th scored by Scouse Marsh will notch with ten to go... and Ian Bishop will run the show... and then tomorrow Sir Alf will post up on here moaning as per fucking normal... that's my fucking prediction.

"This is a game that's screaming for an attacking set up and offensive players that will draw Spurs backwards. That's what worries me. The way Moyes sets up we will get fucking battered. Spurs main threat is with the ginger cսnt on the right. That's where Moyes has been playing Paqueta. So if he plays Paqueta left against Spurs he will be tracking back all night. If this happens then we may aswell all pack up and go, home because it will prove Moyes is one of the worst tactical managers in the PL. We need Cornet or Kudus on left to neutralise that threat with their pace and strength and god forbid even get Spurs on the back foot. We need Paqueta central linking defence to attack, we need Bowen right and for fuck sake put Mubama up front."

"Inside source at the club that Moyes believes his attacking style of play will be too much for defensive Spuds, Paqueta out wide on the left, that will stop their fullback from getting forward, Bowen to use his height upfront and win the Ariel battle with their 6’6” centrehalves, then Soucek storming through the centre of the park using his ball control and speed to get onto Bowens flicks. Or he might just say fuck it and play for the draw!!!"

We won’t cope with the 20 min onslaught 3-1 loss.

"After having 22% possession we'll snatch a late equaliser from Soucek at the far post, so Moyes can look all self satisfied at the post match interview and the dwarf can wank furiously into his cossack hat."

"Same starting 11 aside from Zouma. Subs after 80 mins at best unless we are more than 2 down. Relying on Kudus for something is about it. We won’t get relegated and won a cup last season so expectations for further progression seem to be seen as too much by the media pundits and ex pros and even some fans. It’s all selective thinking though imo. We had 3 or 4 new players brought in this season, 5 or 6 the previous season and several costing 30 million or more yet Moyes has been unable to improve league form or adapt the style to something that is better to watch and more effective. It reminds me of that manager at Wolves who went to Spurs. Said he needed to change his Wolves okayed as their counter attack, low block game had limitations. Could not do it and failed. It’s a whole philiosophy and ethos that takes 100% commitment to, getting the right players with pace and technique. We look like a team who has a manager trying to reluctantly get us to keep it better but not really believing in it, lacking the tactics, training and development know how to change. Hence it looks slow , half baked mess. Let’s hope it do t get too embarrassing and we do t get too many injuries since playing g the same core 14 every game is asking for just that"

"From what I saw of Tottenham on Sunday most of their threat comes from Kulsevski down the right. All the more reason to get Paqueta inside and use someone like Cornet who has often played as a wing back to help Emerson. As said you need quick footed and thinking players and by leaving out Soucek the likes of Cornet , Bowen & Kudus could exploit the high line of Kamikaze Ange. Yes , I realise none of the above POSITIVE moves will happen"

"Sorry to be so pessimistic but they are going to tear us a new one. Ok, we might limit them to a couple of goals but they will dominate us and make us look like a League One side."

"twoleftfeet - there won't be a single West Ham fan anywhere that won't be over the moon and celebrating if we beat these cunts.. Well apart from you, because you'll be too busy coming on here calling out everyone who thinks we'll lose and saying they're unhappy because we won. Because you're as thick as shit. We need to pick our best technical and quickest players if we're going to take advantage of their high line, which means no Soucek.. Who isn't quick enough to break or quick enough to get close to their midfield."

"Appreciate the wishful thinking but if we use logic and our heads, there’s only one result. Football can throw up surprises, they could somehow miss a bunch of gilt edged chances or everything we hit goes in. We will need everything to like this to go our way as we create few chances. I predict a damp squib of a game with Moyes being happy to only lose by a couple of goals to a rich 6 side, as acceptable. Hope to be proved wrong as Soucek bosses midfield ( *** takes deep drag on crack pipe *** )"

"Oh yes, this will be entertaining football, Man City - Spurs the best game, pah. They will give us space to counter and off course our passing will hold up. Paqueta will shine again, Kudus will continue to improve and Bowen will score goals. Moyes's well trained and honed, carefully assembled defence will as usual let in goals. I'll go with Sydney, 4-3 to the Irons. I cannot wait!"

"Ange is the most attack minded manager in the PL, but they are vulnerable and ride their luck especially at the back, really up our front line to see if we can punish them on the counter as we will need to, can see them scoring goals against us, we just need to score more....... 4-3 to the Irons. You just know it makes sense!!!"

"Thought this fixture last year was the first evidence of missing Noble. Would love to see us up for this one, but I'm not too confident on recent results. They have flamed out a bit since their torrid start, but I still think they'll have more than enough. Our defence has been too flimsy this year."

Ange must be worried about what team Moyes will line up.

"Good evening all, as always this match thread needs no introduction. Postecoglou needs to get out of Spurs and come and manage us, I know it would seem like sloppy seconds but this bloke bleeds attacking football, but he is stuck with them. If we can't perform and get motivated for this game, then when can we? IRONSSSSSSSSSSSSSS"
