We have had far worse managers and I actually think Moyes is a decent man but he's been left behind tactically and is in the world of the pampered superstar footballer who he doesn't connect with. I wish him well in whatever he does next. We have been his most successful club. He's not left us in the best position. His loyalty to older players and lack of embracing youth means a major rebuild is going to be needed. I hope he gets a decent send off. It was turning toxic and recent results were only adding to that.

"What a relief. We've had to put up with so much sterile, turgid football under Moyes and to make matters worse this season we've probably been thrashed more often in one campaign than ever before. But to think we were comfortably 6th at the turn of the year. He deserves to go solely for the dire results of the last four months or so. It's been relegation form and there's no disguising that the longer the season has gone on the more the team has lost form and motivation. In a nutshell Moyes lost the players weeks ago.
