"If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells? I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature. I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers. You mark your own answers and post your score. I will then record the scores and at the end of the ""lockdown"" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves) Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Is Sophos your firm's firewall/security? and do you have to through it?

"No not tried that as I work upstairs. The actual wi fi connection to my own is fine and then I connect to something called Sophos which in turn connects to what I assume is a TalkTalk BT VPN. That cuts out during the day so it could be the issue. Odd though that I don't have to reset my PC and mobile, only the Sky Q."

Have you tried connecting your laptop to the router with an ethernet cable?

Far Cough 6:50 Wed May 25 Many thanks. I've had a suggestion from someone. Basically on the days I work at home with a laptop and connect to the offices connection in the evening my Sky Q has cut out and needs to be reconnected. Only happens when I work at home. PC and phone are fine just the Sky Q. I'm with BT for broadband. Someone suggested I change the channel on my hub from smart to manual so I am trying that and see how I go. Smart BT has its issues apparently!
