"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

I'm enjoying it. Great defence.

"I suppose we may have been spoiled in recent years, but this isnt much of a grand finale to what has been an intriguing season."

Game over. Kansas have had that horrible combination of playing poorly and zero luck. TB also just too good man for man.

Brady hasn't even gone deep yet (apart from pass that resulted in the trip penalty on Evans). He still has Evans and Godwin to go to.

"Scorch - bang on. The gap in quality between those two lines today is enormous. It's a complete mis-match and put Kansas under huge pressure. I know the Chiefs have been masters of the comeback in the past 18 months. But I can't see it here, unless they score very early in the 2nd half. I don't know who the back-up right tackle is on the Chiefs' roster, but regardless of who he is, I'd be asking him to move inside and play right guard in the 3rd quarter. He can't do any worse than the starter (who is a back-up anyway), and they need to double-(pass) block Mahomes' open-side. The Buccs have just strolled through that gap all night."

"Brady, Gronk and Brown are on fire, in all fairness to them. But the Chiefs have been as god-awful as I've seen from a Super Bowl team for decades. Those two o-line guards should not play another snap today. They might as well have stayed at home. Can't remember either of them making a notable block in 30 mins. Can't help but admire what the Buccs have done today, though."

SBBB- the line is patchwork. It's given a huge advantage to an already brilliant bucs defence.

Bucs were quite happy to run out the clock and go to halftime but chiefs calling timeout forced them to go for it. Now they're at the goaline

They are killing them selves with these penalties. The refs are only to happy to throw them against the chiefs though....

"Fucking hell - even the Jets would walk through these Kansas guards: that's how bad they are today! If the Buccs score a TD next, this is all over."

I know they're catering to the people who probably only watch the superbowl each year but this football for dummies thing on bbc is really starting to grate on me

Chiefs are never out of a game though. Won the superbowl last year coming back from big defecits in every round.

This could turn into an absolute pasting. If the chief don't stop holding this could get really nasty.

The chiefs are beating themselves at the moment. I said after the championship game the Bucs have the stronger roster. I see nothing to make me change my mind.

"Yeah, the Chiefs look rattled right now. Momentum can swing quickly, especially with these two sides, but Reid needs to find something extra here. No point sending four receivers (incl. TE) up the field when your line is playing so porous. You're just leaving your QB unprotected. Maybe the Chiefs need to, dare I say, RUN the ball a few times? Keep the Buccs D-line honest and get those guards shoving forward, rather than running back."

"This game is over unless Reid and Bienemy can fix this Chiefs o-line. Those guards are all over the place, and at least one of the tackles is being doubled-up on every play. It's clever stuff from Bowles (and Arians) Maybe ditch the 3WR sets for a couple of drives and plonk a second TE permanently on the line? Or drag a back-up tackle into one of the guard slots? Reid has to make a change of some sort, even if it is subtle. Because his big asset, Mahomes, is barely getting time to blink. ."

Why didn't they just bang it in with Fournette?

"Reid might want to think about bringing one of his back-up tackles into one of the guard positions. The two Chiefs guards who started the game, but who are basically back-ups, had a terrible first quarter. Bowles was a shite HC in New York, but he is a very savvy DC and he's just had his big men hitting those guards hard on the inside. The two guards look lost. That match-up has been a mis-match so far. Mahomes is getting no time. Chiefs can't go on like that, not with problems either side of centre."

"This chiefs Oline is getting mauled so far, Bucs sat in zone as to not get beat deep and mahomes has to hold the ball longer allowing the rush to get to him."
