"Personally, I think what will decide Packers/Buccs is not Rodgers v Brady, as the media constantly has it. They're both superb QBs. The deciding factor is likely to be how well Brady copes with the Packers' hit-and-miss defense, which has been Green Bay's weak spot all season. I like the look of Rodgers v Buccs defense, but I fear Brady could pick apart the Packers' defense: it's run by ex-Jets assistant Mike Pettine and Brady will be familiar with his schemes. I like Pettine, but his defenses have always underperformed (he was lucky to have Rex Ryan as HC in New York). So I'm going Chiefs-Buccs."

I am going for the Packers and the Bills. Rogers filleted the Rams defence and he will do the same to the Bucs. The Chiefs defence are going to have to get after Josh Allen or else I think he will outscore Mahomes and his bashed head and turf toe.

To watch a playoff game at Lambeau is on the bucket list. Any NFL fan should make that pilgrimage. Don't mind who makes it to the Super Bowl. But wouldn't mind if the Bills won it all.

Championship weekend - cannot wait to watch both games. My predictions: Buccaneers @ Packers With Brady as QB you are always in with a shot even if he is considered 'old' now. The Buccaneers have done very well to get this far but I think this is one game too far for them. The Packers with Rodgers and a balanced offence as well as defence should prove too much for the Buccaneers especially playing at Lambeau Packers by 10-14 and a place in the Superbowl Bills @ Chiefs A lot will be made of Mahomes injury but unless he is in a wheelchair I cannot see him missing this one - quite how he reacts to having some form of hinderance is anyone's guess however I would probably say he is 95% fit to go unless I have missed something and he is actually out. The Bills are strong all over and I give them a shot at taking the Chiefs down IF they get every aspect of their running game firing. This will be a close one Chiefs by 3-7 and a place in the Superbow

"I don't believe for one moment that the Eagles interviewed McDaniels for nine hours straight. That's just press guff and posturing by those briefing the media. He would have spoken to them in slots, with breaks etc. The question for Eagles fans is how much time did they actually spend interviewing the new HC: not how long was in the same city as the owners. This all looks rushed and far from thorough. Everybody says they are thorough when they speak to the media afterwards."

"I've been following the Eagles recruitment quite closely with multiple podcasts and articles. They certainly cast the net far and wide and were even taking criticism for not speeding it up. They had a 9 hour interview with Josh McDaniels last Sunday and a two day interview with Sirrianni over Tuesday and Wednesday. Apparently he impressed a great deal. The impression is that he is very intelligent, popular in the dressing room, and doesn't take any shit. Can't say whether it will work out, one of the drawbacks is that, as a smaller name he will not have the clout to challenge the GM and the owner so they may have more of a voice than they should in what coaches he has to work with. They love that, and a more established candidate probably wouldn't have signed up to it so easily."

"Really odd hire for the Eagles. Siriani is a hard worker but, irrespective of his talent, it looks like they've hired somebody who could have done with a couple more years' worth of experience. I'm sure he's good at the Xs and Os, but he's going to need a lot more savvy on top if he's going to survive as a HC in Philly. I don't really understand this modern phenomenon of franchises giving undue weight to recommendations from 'names'. The Jets gave Gase another shot (after Miami) once Manning gave his mate a good reference. Others, too. Now it looks like Frank Reich (ex-Philly OC) gave Siriani an unsurprisingly good reference. Do any of these teams actually go through a robust recruitment process any more? GM: Welcome to Philly, Nick. NS: Thanks. GM: Ha, ha, ha! You've got a great sense of humour. NS: What? "Certainly going to be an interesting few months with lots of QB's seemingly leaving clubs and the retirements. Think its a fairly poor set of QB's in the NFL at the moment with the odd exception compared to years gone by, though understandle considering the hall of fame legends who have retired in the past few years. Interesting to see if we take the plunge ourselves, as I don't mind Jimmy G, but he does make too many poor decisions and is made of plastic."

But that should not detract from what Norf's brother is doing over the Pond. He's ripping it up. On another note, I am a bit worried that Quinn and that defensive group will now make the Cowgirls a lot more competitive."
