"Watched all of The Detectorists for a second time recently. One of my favourite TV series. Gentle, beautiful, genuinely funny and crafted with every character bringing something to the table (not just buttons). And the characters occasionally swear, just like real people do. You have to admit though that by the end Andy and Lance are properly punching. Oh and Varda is lovely. Probably wait another two years before doing it all over again."

Watched two episodes of the new Amazon show “Hunters” last night. Absolutely fucking bonkers. It’s about some Hews hunting Nazis in 1977 USA. It’s a bit like a Tarantino style of serious and entertaining structure with everything turned up to 11. Absolute shit

Also tried some Locke & Key, but it's one for the kids sadly, trying to cash in on that Stranger Things popularity. Sex Education on Netflix is worth a look. Very well written and Gillian Anderson is an absolute MILF.
