NFL (since 2016)

"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Murray, with that negligent O-line is performing heroic feats every week. They were clownish the other day and he still had them within touching distance."

"We all have our biases but a healthy Thomas last year was better than Jones, even without an (albeit declining) HoF quarterback for part of it. Hopkins has always been great but having a phenomenal year and the best receiver so far. Yards from scrimmage guys might have an argument - Cook and Kamara. But right now, the young quarterbacks have it, for me. Murray running around with no O-line and looking like he was just hucking it with three guys in his face. And yet putting it right where it needed to be. Hermit mentioned Mahomes."

He is phenomenal. Must be hard to say a best player though because they are all such different positions so barely comparable. I'd probably go for Mahomes as the biggest deal breaker though. mainly because of the impact on the game that a QB can have compared to a WR

My brother thinks Julio is possibly the best player in the NFL at the mo so I'll guess we'll see tomorrow

"Agree to disagree on that I guess. If you have no pass defence you are never going to be a contender. See how mediocre the Saints began the year, when their secondary looked like they just met over drinks the night before. I thought the Saints and Tampa were always going for it this year. Falcons would be okay and Carolina would struggle. Not 100% that but close."

Yes I realise it's not a geographical derby but definitely the big one for both teams We're in good form and with no fans I think it could go either way. Just shows how tight it is and how fine the margins are with those three stupid impossible defeats we'd probably be favourites here and maybe for the division

"Norflundon 1:06 Sat Nov 21 Not really a derby, me driving that took 6-7 hours if I remember correctly. But the Saints biggest rival is the Dirty Birds for sure. Been in the same division since the 70s. Saints fans taking it very seriously despite Atlanta's record - as always. And Lattimore having an oblique issue will help Jones, maybe. Excited and nervous to see what Taysom can do with multiple series, if he actually does that."

"Zeb, sounds interesting. I have David Johnson's handcuff, Duke Johnson. That might be a decent trade for Tua?"

OccupyGreenStreet 12:06 Sat Nov 21 I have Tua and he has the Jets coming up shortly. I was OK with RBs until David Johnson got knocked out. My backups have all gone backwards as the season went on.

"Do we have a trade deadline in our fantasy league? Whoever is London Sloths, I've made you a trade offer. Happy to discuss trades if anyone is deep at QB or WR and needs an RB1/2."

"crystal falace 4:59 Fri Nov 20 Tough one, trying to be objective. Winston started really well by keeping it simple but all he needed to was continue to do that and didn't. He should have been intercepted a couple times and started tap dancing in pocket, whenever pressure came and got sacked a couple times because of it. But it was a similar story with Bridgewater last year, barely survived the game he took over and then he came back a gave 4 (I think) smart, good performances. Maybe Winston can do they same with a week. There is the Taysom question as well. Probably Ryan. Though the Saints D will want to keep it tight for whoever is quarterbacking and they look really good as unit against Brady and have a new good cover linebacker in Kwon Alexander."

"Irons I picked up winston this week after the brees injury and he's predicted alot of points against that falcons D, but i also have matt Ryan so not sure wether to risk Winston this week as he's very volatile, that good first game for me from Hyde might allow me to ply it safer with Ryan."

"crystal falace 1:44 Fri Nov 20 Me trusting in my boy Jared Cook just saved you last week, Crystal. Winston (eating Ws and all) not being able to see beyond his one/two reads (CGM and Kamara) was a killer."

"As for Arizona, their O-line killed Murray last night. Penalty after penalty culminating in a safety at the end. He is a wizard but he didn't stand a chance."

You killed me with Hyde last night. I must have been on there at the same time and saw he was a free agent. While I was looking for information about Carson's status I came back to get him and you had snapped him up! You got a few expletives added to your moniker at that point. More so when I watched the highlights this morning.

"Big win for the seahawks last night, murray's worst game of the year. That Seattle defence has played significantly better the last couple of weeks, with that offence they only need an average D to be a real contender. Carlos Hyde was a nice last minute addition for my fantasy team when i saw carson was going to be out"
