first season is slow and i know several people who gave up before finishing it. but after that it gets exponentially better as it continues and every character starts losing all moral compass

Most of the characters are great but White's whiny young sidekick and his boring family take up way too much screen time and there's a lot of tedium spread throughout those 60+ hours, not just at the start, although as said it does improve with the appearance of Gus and Mike."

The latter additions of characters such as Gus Fring and Mike is first class. Gomorrah is one of the best things I;ve ever watched. "I hadn't been arsed to watch it as its all in Italian so sub titles but Gomorrah is superb. Another superb series that takes a bit to get into is the Handmaids tale, up to season 3, very dark and very well made, often seems to slow right down, then all of a sudden it throws something in that makes you sit up and go WTF! As you just didn't see coming."
