The issue here as far as I am concerned is the whipping up of a story of marginal - if any - public interest into a national scandal that has dominated the news agenda for a week. It was the same with Schofield. How and why that has happened is the matter of public interest rather than the hitherto unknown and apparently legal peccadilloes of a talking head.
