"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Understand no actual good team would ever move to london but i really dont want the London Jaguars, although the name does fit quite well."

"crystal falace 12:21 Wed Feb 5 If you get real desperate, the CFL preseason starts somewhere round May Long (Victoria Day) each year. The quality was better than the XFL last time round and it has some differences in rules as well."

"Nah. The AMERICAN football (I refuse to call it football, despite the fact that I reallyt like American Football) season is very much over. It's all about the college games and the NFL. Screw the rest of it. The next big thing is free agency and the draft. Everybody out! [Starts to pack away gear]"

So football season is not over. the XFL run by Vince McMahon starts this weekend. they have some interesting rules that could be very fun to watch but not sure how much interest they'll actually generate with the standard of player they have. Lets go New York Guardians?! Matt McGloin is one of the very few players ive heard of

"crystal falace 1:55 Mon Feb 3 Honestly not sure how you keep track of everybody's family and friends etc. from other teams. The NFL bad guys I kind of know are the ones that have actually been arrested, and I don't have time to keep up with all of those, to be fair."

"49ers will be a good team for another couple of years at least, will have a lot of defenders especially the front 4 guys who will all be coming up for extensions one year after the next so will be very hard to keep them all together"

Best thing is the Rams will be top of the NFC West again next year as the 49ers slip back to obscurity.

I did try and tell you all this would happen. Mahomes is a machine and will be the face of NFL for the next decade. CHIEFS KINGDOM

"Seems like everyone loves big Red. Mahomes seems like a really likeable guy too, shame his brother is such a complete prick and his Mrs is an intolerable abhorrent cսnt of a woman. If you havent seen her go and look her up on twitter, films herself watching games and just screams into the camera at the top of her lungs all game."

"""Nice to see for Andy Reid."" I don't think there's many out there who'd disagree with that. The Bobby Robson of the NFL?"

"Northern Sold 12:16 Mon Feb 3 Ha. Good try with the American exaggeration. Actually would be ""his j.v."" (junior varsity) team or be really dramatic and say ""his Pop Warner"" team. Anyway, watched the extended highlights. 49ers could not do something with that second interception and then I would have to see other angles, but that coverage on a 3rd and 15 soon after was awful. (Maybe they had to respect the Mahomes' legs.) Flipped the game there. Nice to see for Andy Reid."

It is a cliche that Defence wins Superbowls but it is true. Who knew it it was going to be the Chiefs? Chris Jones and Frank Clark were immense (In Jones case literally as well as metaphorically).

Mahome is the youngest looking NFL player I have ever seen... he looks like he's just walked into his sophomore school team

"Interesting to see what the Chiefs do with Mahomes now, think he's eligible for a contract extension after this year, would assume they'd look to reward him sooner rather than later but will be very hard to keep the team together when you're suddenly having to pay one player somewhere between 35-40M a season which is definitely what Mahomes will be getting."

"Good final, between the two best teams in the NFL this season. I'm glad the Chiefs won it - but the 49ers defence is very good. They switched off for one quarter and paid the price. That'll happen with Mahomes - even when he's not having his best day, his capacity is so high that he can just light up on a couple of drives and change the game. That kid is unreal. Dislocated his knee, mid-season, missed just two games and came back playimng like it had never happened. Two really good, well-organised NFL teams - hard not to like either side. Watch for the Jets next season. Like West Ham, it's always NEXT season! ;-)"
