"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

Reinventing Mahomes as as rushing quaterback gives it a new dimension.

3 hours and 30 minutes and the ball is in play for 11 minutes! That is simply rubbish. It's a 60 minute game but the clock never stops!

The BBC coverage is actually provided by Whisper and paid for by the NFL. That London franchise will happen eventually.

Rooting for the chiefs. It would be fab for Andy Reid to finally win one and Mohomes is such a ludicrous talent. Just hope his O-line can contain the 49ers pass rush.

Just settling down for it now. Sticking to SKY coverage ahead of BBC borefest. Large stuffed crust pepperoni on the way!

"I expect Jimmy G to throw it more tomorrow than he did against Green Bay. Chiefs Linebackers are bang average so I expect Kittle, Juice and Deebo to get some nice plays. I expect Kansas to score more in the first half than the second with half time adjustments stopping Mahomes We did it to Lamar Jackson when we played in Baltimore earlier in the season. Niners will turn up the heat on the run game second half and control the game and the clock. 'M going for a come from behind victory for San Fran. 34-31"

Grumpster 11:35 Sat Feb 1 The scary thing is that Tevin Coleman is stil their number one. Mostert got the plays because Coleman was crocked. It helps when you have George Kittle and Kyle Juszczyk blasting massive holes in the line.

"Richard Sherman is going have his hands full tomorrow. He will have to read Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes minds to keep tabs on Hill, Watkins and Hardman."

"If Mostert has another good game, that'll be a huge help. Bloke has been a revelation. And I always knew Sherman was good (though obviously hated him at the seahawks), but every game he just seems to turn up and so it's no wonder the D has been playing so well with him helping to run it. Bloody wish west ham's players had his mentality."
