"He's just a set-piece merchant and there's usually other Assistant Coaches that arrange that and other than that he relies heavily on individual brilliance to dig him out of holed and score from nothing. There's no intricate patterns of play, instructed to play it 1 touch with the intention of keeping hold of the ball for more than about 4 passes. The Team play scared as soon as they win back possession not knowing what to really do with it other than quickly launch it to either Paqueta, Kudus or the outstanding Bowen. He's been extremely privileged and lucky to become our manager for a 2nd time in charge of so many quality players that have been at his disposal that have often papered over the cracks of coaching deficiencies in the modern era. Whether it be today against Liverpool who have a clear game plan with possessionnof the ball, or be it against Palace battering us with ease only a few days earlier. The quality players he has had have flattered him big time as a manager. Not that the old pals act media brigade will accept that, preferring to heap all the praise on to Moyes without bothering to scratch beneath the surface of what's really been going on. Just 3 more tedious performances to go and he'll soon be out the door for good and good riddance to his extremely defensive anti-Footballing philosophy. Thank fuck."

"Look at the BOLLOCKS he speaks""¶ Everton Attacked them from start to finish, did we ? No fucking way.. Deluded cսnt. I think Liverpool were probably the better team, but we did the other side of football well. We showed character and resilience, and we stuck at it. I think it was a bit like how Everton beat Liverpool in midweek - we only got a draw, but it's still a good result."

He should stay until (or IF) it becomes mathematically impossible to qualify for Europe.

Been more pro-Moyes than most but agree with Manuel Rip the plaster off ASAP. Otherwise every game will just get worse and worse (Unless we get 4 successive victories but lets be honest that's not happening)

"Ludo - No, because we were never sacking him and he was never walking, but something should budge to allow for the club to plan ahead and not miss any potential targets etc. It's now just a face saving exercise for both parties, but the problem with that is it's at the detriment of the club and stopping us from moving forward with so much to do this summer. It's bollocks, this is big business and big calls should be made, instead it's just everyone being nice to each other with the fans left in the dark as usual, Sullivan has always done this. By the way, technically the landscape has changed, i.e we can't win the EL and barring a miracle won't be in Europe next season, but on we plod."

Moyes was never going to go before the end of the season and nothing has changed.

I think it only benefits Sullivan's ego. He's said before that he doesn't like sacking managers and he probably thinks it would make him look worse were we to sack him and then possibly have a poor season next year than if we were to simply let his contract run down. We've seen the exact same situation before with Allardyce so I wouldn't worry too much about the club being undecided as to whether to keep him. He'll be gone next month. All we have to worry about is whether they make the right appointment.

"This insistence on waiting until the season is over is very fucking irritating, who does it actually benefit? The only plausible reasoning is to see if we qualify for Europe again as maybe that would come into the thinking in the possible (horrific) situation that they are still yet undecided? Moyes doesn't seem to give a fuck about a goodbye, probably because he fucking hates us, so I really wouldn't worry yourself about that too much, he's not really a goodbye type of person. Another four games seems a lifetime away still, I don't want to see him or hear any more of his lies, ego and bullshit. Get it done."

"Fauxstralian 10:33 Thu Apr 25 You should apply context when making comparisons. Tottenham forfeited because they couldn't put a team out, using covid in the camp as an excuse. The reality is Conte had mo desire to be in it so grabbed an excuse to exit. Leicester drew the Italian entry in the semi's rather than the final. Which that year happened to be Mourinho's Roma. Two legs v Fiorentina would have been tougher. The Italians are another nation who should always compete at the latter stages of that competition. Villa will win it."

Joyless Yep so we scored about the right number of goals for our league position but we conceded the right number of goals for 17th just above 3 of the poorest teams ever in the premier league.... whats your point...?

"He didn't save us from the drop he got 20 points as opposed to Pellegrines 19. That would have saved us too. That's very interesting to me , I had a protracted argument with Goose ( as he does) at the time of Moyes 2nd appointment , that pellegrini would keep us up by simply duplicating his half season form for the second half of the season . Looks like he would have been right , if 39 points isn't chancing it a bit ."

I'll wish him well and when he's gone he'll deserve the status of our more successful manager in recent years. But this doesn't mean he is immune to criticism. If anything being able to criticise should have given him the chance to adapt. Oh well.
