"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

My first time getting to a play-off semi and I did it in both of my fantasy leagues - if only the Fins were that good :O(

A brave fight by my team and Drew Brees almost got us over the line. Now to be thrashed by crystal falace in the third place off (no way is my team ever getting close to 140).

"Yeah i ran into a bit of a buzzsaw against you this week, every time someone on redzone scored a touchdown you seemed to have them! Odell Beckham has absolutely killed me all year and not having Calvin Ridley and a banged up tightend were the difference i think,"

"Oops, 140 points I should've said. 240 would be going some!"

"Commiserations Crystal! A bit of a titanic tussle in the Fantasy play-off, with my RB combo of McCaffrey and Sanders getting me over the line. If I'd known that I would need 240 points to beat you I'd have expected a definite defeat!"

Did they stop the game for half an hour to do another stupid presentation when he broke the touchdown record? Seems dumb getting excited about that now when Brady could conceivably overtake him on saturday.

Monday night means just extended highlights but Brees looked as good as I have seen him in a while. And that is what the stats say as well. Another record is his. Thomas on track for his own. Kamara maybe starting to show what he can do. Will be tough with the defensive injuries but might still have a chance to go deep in the playoffs.

Can't see the Packers losing to the dreadful Lions

Yeah Vikings play the Packers next week so could go level on record but think you'd need them to lose week 17 t the Lions too as they have the edge in the tirbreakers.

Vikings smash the Chargers but we look like only making a wild card

"But you do have the only QB in the division who's better than average and consistent, which is a big boost to your chances. Naive losing to a team like the Falcons who literally have no running game and an offence consisting of only 2 quality players in Ryan and Julio, but after the last few awful years it's been nice actually competing again."

"Will be your best chance Grumps, our home form isn't as good as our road form (set a franchise record yesterday) and if Wagner has done his ankle then we're currently without 6 of our starting D line. But very pleasant to wake up and see the Atlanta score of course"

"Tough schedule telling a bit, but garropolo is definitely a massive weak point. Misses so many easy throws, though result doesn't overly matter as it's been a case of needing to beat the seahawks in the last game anyway."

Haskins looked good today. Was obviously closer than the score line suggested with the desperate play at the end to try and catch up. Good win for the Birds.

Kittle is a seriously tough runner when he's got the ball. Brilliant at nicking a few more yards.

"Brady has been absolute shit, though not helped by his offensive line playing like helmets. Really do think that age has finally caught up with him. It's a joy to see."

"the lakers only beat them by one basket (3pts) and miami had a few injuries. they'll only improve as the season goes on. it's a good bet, still 45s on PP, only 28s on B365. lakers are joint favourites on both sites at 3/1, by the time the playoffs come round 37 year old lebron will be fucked"

"crystal, I've been watching quite a bit of basketball this season and said to grumps (via whomail, never answered) to back MIAMI HEAT for the championship. they was 45/1 when I messaged him and still haven't been cut after another good win earlier this week. they play the Lakers tonight and if they beat them I've no doubt the price will possibly halve so get on"
