"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Just because they were caught filming the Bengals, it doesn't mean they weren't doing it to other teams Would be pretty essy to prove and sure we'd have heard already if they'd been elsewhere as thee Pats had to ask permission from the Browns to have people credentialed in the press box to do it."

"The serious point is that I agree with Falace - it is unlikely that the Patsies would even bother filming the Bengals for any advantage. You wouldn't learn much, beyond how much their offensive line eats during a game. But there is a reason everybody is on edge when it comes to the Patsies and cheating. For a team that has been so good, and a coach and QB who are among the best ever, they are more committed than most to bending the rules. ""Spygate"" and ""Inflategate"" tell you that. Maybe it is wishful thinking, but I can't help but feel that post-Belichick, there could be a Lance Armstrong-style opening up of what actually went on inside PatsyLand after he signed that napkin."

"It is interesting that it is very often the Patsies caught up in these ""filming"" scandals, isn't it? What better cover to have than to commission a group of idiot independents, and then instruct them to point their cameras in the direction of your opponents benches, while all the time denying any responsibility. Damn clever, that Belichick! Damn clever. Dangerous. Never has one man done so much damage with a single napkin. ;-)"

"and once again -- it's the Bengals!!! if they need to cheat to beat them then they mas as well just give up now Just because they were caught filming the Bengals, it doesn't mean they weren't doing it to other teams"

"Not sure why you'd trust an independent fil crew to do your cheating for you if thats what you were trying, not sure how much loyalty they'd have for you. And apparently they were in the press box with multiple other reporters including bengals, would be very bold to deliberately cheat and film the other team infront of members of their own media and once again -- its the bengals!!! if they need to cheat to beat them then they mas as well just give up now"

"In 2008, the Patsies refused to hand over video tape of Jets signal calls (among other things) to the NFL, which had been obtained in contravention of league rules. So the NFL had to go to the Patsies practice ground and smash up the tapes themselves. Genuinely a true story. Roger Goodall believes Belichick has engaged in illegal filming of opponents since he became the Patsies head coach in 2000. He's been open about it when discussing it with state senators etc. Belichick denies this, obviously."

"It's not the first time they've done it, either. The dirty, cheating fuckbags (sorry, Crystal!) were caught ogling our coaches in 2007. Any old cheat for an advantage. (I am contrctually obliged to say that, btw)"

It's part of the do your job series i think there are at least 8 other ones they've done on patriots.com relating to various other departments within the team. Sounds like it was a completely independent film crew who was hired to do the filming so may not have been aware of certain rules or whatever. Again if they were going to cheat to win a game I'd like to think they'd do it before games against the Ravens or Chiefs rather than against the worst team in the NFL

"Doesn't sound settled as of an hour ago? Also, it isn't necessarily the first time they've done it in some way, just the first time they've been caught. Bit weird for an unrelated to the team documentary crew to be filming the Bengals sidelines and signals, if they were supposed to be making a doc about a Patriots scout."

"I think the playoffs are split between 1-4 and then 5-8 like a cup and a plate. Can't look though as i've got a shit phone currently that can't process the app, can only check my team on my laptop at home. Yeah im happy with how my team's gone, i knew some of the guys i picked had tough schedules to start but would improve. Other than changing defences most weeks as i always do and i had to add a tightend after Engram kept getting hurt i've pretty much stuck to the players i drafted"

That's weird. Had me down in the semi final this morning and now the consolation game. Oh well. Team was falling apart anyway. That 10 win streak was impressive

"yeah pretty good turnaround after starting 0-4! Calvin Ridley got hurt in the last game and is out for the season which is a huge loss for me, he'd really been picking up the slack from a very disappointing OBJ season. Just hoping lamar can keep being a complete freak and carry me to victory."

End of regular season in the Fantasy league and finished very tight at the top with three of us on identical records (10-4) - just missed on the title by 34 points. Congrats to Red & Gold Brigade. Pretty close in the rest of the league too with seven teams separated by only two wins. Crystal Falace - you could be favourite for the title with your ten win streak going into the play-offs.

"It's already been settled, they're making a documentary about one of their scouts for a series of short films they've put together called ""do your job"" they were filming their own staffer int he bengals press box, and had prior permission from the browns who's stadium they were in to be there. They have already submitted the film to the league. You can go online and find the first in the series of documentaries they made about the equipment staff. Of all the teams to try and cheat to beat i realllllly don't think the 1-12 Bengals are one of them."

"A camera crew associated with the Patriots has been caught filming the Bengals sideline from a press box during last weekend's game, and recording signals. They happen to be playing the Bengals next week. The Patriots deny it's anything to do with the team. Hmmmmm....."

"I do not understand the logic between the challenge rules, you have to win both challenges to get an additional 3rd challenge. Pats lost one challenge last night so had to use their 2nd on a huge fuck up by the officials not seeing the clear fumble by kelce, surely you should get that challenge back?! not like games will take longer as you still lose a timeout if you lose a challenge. This dumb rule meant that the Patriots had no challenges left when the refs made the 2nd monumental fuckup judging Harry out at the 2 yard line when it was clearly a touchdown!"
