"He'll be binned early in the season if we don't start well, which judging by recent preseason performances, could well be on the cards."

"I'm really sorry but I don't see Moyes leaving any time soon. The very fact he does seem to have won the power struggle and been allowed to bring in his transfers, probably means that he is here for the rest of his contract. The money having been mostly spent, on ageing players with little sell on value, makes us quite unattractive to a new manager. So if we find ourselves struggling, the argument is going to be, what decent manager is going to come."

Maguire + JWP incoming. Think it's obvious who's winning this internal power struggle.

Relegation aside I've never known so many senior players wanting out (or appearing to). Sooner we get rid of Moyes the better.

"From the Sun""¶ Patrice Evra knew David Moyes was doomed to fail at Man Utd after his first team meeting: ""When he came to Old Trafford, he said, ""òGuys, I know you win everything and you will have to teach me'. ""I was like, oh my God you should never do that, they are going to eat you alive.""ù Explains a lot about his negative mentality."

"Whether we like it or not Rice will still have strong relationships with current players and given what the wet blanket is saying is public is probably drooling about the training methods at Arsenal to his old mates. Anyway the most predictable thing is we will set up and play the same way we've played in 50 games, wont pick up many points and Moyes will be out. Like others have said though, it would be suicide letting him sign players when he does fuck off."

Given that Hugh is reporting that the players are pissed off with the out of date training methods and defensive tactics surely Moyes needs to get Hatred in for a pep talk too boost the players morale

"joyo 3:38 Tue Aug 8 ""Yeah let's remember, our shit league record rather than winning a trophy or 3 seasons on trot in Europe"" Exactly. This is what owners should be thinking. My worry is even if we finally sack this negative football sweaty cսnt who they appoint to replace him with."

Lopetegui meeting Wolves officials at their training ground according to the BBC He is looking for the exit door which could be bad news for those that have backed Moyes to be the first manager to leave.

Exactly mate. There's not one signing that's being mentioned that fills me with any hope for the future.I want players that are raring to go and not anyone who thinks they're too big for the club. The obvious answer is to get rid of Moyes but that's not going to happen so on and on we go until we eventually fall through the trap door.

Three consecutive years of European football and a first trophy in 43 years. Since then WE HAVEN'T PLAYED ONE MINUTE OF COMPETITIVE FOOTBALL AND YOU'RE ALL DOOM AND GLOOM. SHUT UP AND FUCK OFF YOU MISERABLE CUNTS

"The more I read or see this dinosaur the more I detest this situation we are in. We were on such a high a few weeks back and I feel in football terms that I am having the life sucked out of me""¶ Lets hope his tiresome football gets kicked into touch before much more damage is done. I sincerely hope he does not get the signings he wants as we will be stuck with them long after he has gone."

I notice that old Hugh is now pedaling the line from the club is judge Moyes on his Premier League games not friendlies Which is even more bizarre given his record in the last 38 or even the last 50 premier league games

LeroysBoots 10:25 Mon Aug 7 The problem with buying players that are not picks of Moyes is he has a tendency to fall out with them or not play them or play them out of position until he can drop them... Either way his days would be numbered... fingers crossed ü§û

You don't get bigger ego's fucking around than the Marseille dressing room. The problem with Potter was that he already had a system in place at Brighton. (Something we know ain't here.) Still he's a step up from Moyes.

Sullivan is now 74 and his worst nightmare would be getting relegated again without time to rebuild his fortune. Every manager he has picked has turned to shit and either come close to or actually relegating us. Zola sacked for Grant then 4 seasons of Allardyce followed by Bilic then the first months of Moyes. Then PL winner Pellegrini to Moyes 2nd spell. I'll bet the only ones Sullivan regards as successful were Allardyce and Moyes so be careful what you wish for...

"I think we are being a little hard on Potter. He inherited some huge egos at Chelsea plus he had no input in players coming in, I think he and TS would work well together."
