I'll take Tudor. Didn't do too bad at Marseille. Knows how to handle players. (Something that Potter was accused of lacking at Chelsea.) Was a leader of a player. Maybe heading back to Juventus.? So would have to get him fast.

"Potter is the perfect project manager. Just look at his track record, Ostersunds, he pretty much put them on the map. Swansea he had a decent record at and took over after they dropped out of the Premier league. He built a really solid foundation for Brighton, that they are now an established Premier league club and have pushed on, Chelsea was always going to be problem considering Bohely took over and played football manager with the team. If he came in and was given the tools to do a job and was able to see our a project he could find us the perfect club to really make his mark in England. Him and Stiedten would be a good partnership"

Potter and Steidten would be excellent. Is it worth hoping for?

Potter wouldn't be a bad choice. Think he was onto a bit of a nightmare at Chelsea with the egos then that sudden crazy spend when the new owner came in.

How would splitting with Moyes be painless? We've had one of the most painful summers possible.

"Sport Witness West Ham said to have identified 2 candidates to replace Moyes ""ì Separation with manager ""òcould be painless' Two months ago, David Moyes guided West Ham United to European Conference League glory by beating Fiorentina 2-1 in the final. Despite achieving the club's first silverware since 1980, the manager's future at the club is ""òat risk'. That's at least what TuttoMercatoWeb are reporting and they add that West Ham are evaluating the possibility of sacking Moyes after their recent friendly defeats against Rennes and Bayer Leverkusen. West Ham will face AFC Bournemouth on August 12th and it's stated they could part ways with the manager before the first fixture of the new season. Moyes has a year left on his contract and the website says splitting with him ""òcould be painless'. TMW further state Graham Potter and Igor Tudor are ""òin contention' to replace Moyes at the London club. Potter has been without a job since Chelsea sacked him in April while Tudor is also without a club since he left Marseille after helping them finish third last season. Tudor had spells in Italy with Udinese, Juventus and Hellas Verona. TMW may have received this information from his camp or through an Italian intermediary, as West Ham have been negotiating with a few Serie A clubs this summer. It needs to be seen whether this will be backed up by others, or if securing a deal for Edson Alvarez can bring a sense of calm to the club."

TuttoMercatoWeb (which is about as reliable as I am) says we are in for Igor Tudor as a Moyes replacement. That would be fun. Another Split boy and lasts less than year average in his posts.

"Moyes bears the look of somebody who is tactically constipated. There are plenty of options out there to remedy the inconvenience but he ignores them all and carries on huffing and puffing to no avail until his ringpiece looks like the hanging gardens of Babylon. He only trusts the old wives tales he was brought up with so relies on unimaginative ideas like Maguire, Mc Tom and Ward Prowse to flush out his pipes. It buys him some time but ultimately doesn't really solve the problem on a long term basis. He reminds me of the late, great, hapless Glenn Roeder but at least he had a semi-cool leather jacket on the touchline to admire .."

"The fact that we are not buying Moyes style players is a clear indication that he's going when his contract is up, if not before We wouldn't be sanctioning the Moyes style player on a long contract and big wages unless we are planning on a new era...oh this is West Ham so anything goes I guess"

"I have read your posts over the recent times and agree there is something untoward about the club. This may start from the members of the board to our current manager as many have suggested is losing support in the dressing room. We can only hope that someone has the guts to make the decisions soon as the only champion we will achieve will be that of the Championship league in 2024 changing places with Leeds. I do not envy the PR dept at the club. It must be hard to polish everything and I think the can of polish had run out""¶.,"

"If Pentonville's source is correct then maybe the players will save Sullivan a job and get rid of Moyes themselves. Results will dictate Moyes's future and a bad start will only play into hands of Sullivan if he can only sack him due to results. Lose the first 3 games and sack him, get a new manager in who would work with whatever Stiedten can pull out of his hat in terms of signings and we can have a half decent season. Maybe we could be the next Aston Villa, how fucking depression does it all sound though"

"Paying Moyes off is small fry compared to money spent on players that don't work out. And Moyes will waste more of Sullivan's money, that's a given."

"I suppose the idea maybe that Moyes has satisfied the criteria for a contract extension so that any sacking now could be argued that he's not just losing 1 yrs salary, but another 3yrs as well. Which could end up being a lot of money that Sullivan would hate to spend. Not just because it's a lot but out of principal as well. It feels like Moyes will have to sack himself by literally getting bad results this season. Which is probably why he's been so hell bent in getting PL experienced players as he knows his methods of bedding in players takes months or years. It all makes a lot more sense as to why this guy hasn't been sacked yet. Whoever negotiated his contract obviously did a great job for him. If I were Sullivan I'd probably just take a section of the Rice money for Moyes compensation and tell him to fuck off. Points are so precious in this league that you can't waste them on letting Moyes get shit results just to sack him. Need to be proactive."

"The most significant thing to emerge from what Pentonville has said is that the players are unified in wanting rid of Moyes, and it sounds like anyone could see that from the performance in Germany yesterday. If that is truly the case, they should be banging on Sullivan's door demanding that he gets rid of him, and Sullivan should be acting on that demand no matter what the cost. Anything else is madness and the situation will only get worse like an untreated infection."
