the speech was pretty much a list of excuses then told you that you'll have to pay for it.

labour (which means you) are fucked, they cannot get any welfare reform through parliament so the only option is to keep hiking taxes.

Read this earlier, not sure if it's true, maybe someone can clarify?

"When Tony Blair came  to power the national debt was 25% when he left it was 65%. The Conservatives had spent the last 14 years trying to pay of that debt that Labour had accumulated and also paying for a pandemic. Under Starmer 91% to 97% national debt in 18 months."

I love the way she shoehorned AI into the speech a couple times.

”ooooh, brand new shiny AI!!! In that case please tax me more”!!

She blames the cost of borrowing while ignoring the fact it’s gone up under her watch.
She blames inflation while ignoring the fact her NI increase has caused this.

There’s no attempt to cut the welfare bill, just tax working people more.

This labour government hates you.

Fuck all to do with covid and even if it was then why wasn't it an issue at the previous budget.

It's just rank bad financial irresponsibility.

The cunts need voting out for reneging on their promise not to raise taxes, to the electorate.

big speech delivered by Rachel from accounts, basically paving the way for income tax hikes in the budget.

if this was France people would be rioting.

Sorry, wrong thread.
Not so wrong.

Not sure Lord Upminster - the proper Lord Upminster, not this site's resident imposter - would have much truck with the current shambles of a government.

Thanks, Sven.  Just so you're aware, I'm not one to get too bothered if I spell something incorrectly if I've managed to communicate what I wanted.  I've noticed that it becomes really important to you once you've lost the argument.  I wouldn't want you wasting your time on me.

Can lob in the Child Support Payment fuckeries with all this too - never mind asking about the unauthorised sharing of personal data and the incorrect assumptions they make based on it.

This one, though seems to have been set with a longer fuse, so there's clearly more incoming shit to hit the fan and the fireworks from this can wait a bit.

I'm surprised she hasn't blamed 14 years of Tory government, Brexit, Nigel Farage and the " far right"  .

How about pissing off a bunch of rent boys to the point they torch your house and being so comprised that you have to make Peter Mandleson US ambassador?

He needs her in place to sack AFTER the budget.

Undoubtedly the estate agents have been paid off to take the hit.

Release the meta data for the likely edited (forged) emails if it's all legit.

I saw him post something the other day (on the Firestick thread), so he's still alive and kicking.
