Good luck to Magassa we certainly need him to provide something exciting that our midfield currently lacks. I see we're in for Sangare at Forest who we were constantly linked with when he was at PSV. I think he caught Malaria on international duty last November which is why it took a while to recover and establish himself under Nuno.
I've had a look at Transfermarkt and both players don't seem to be attached to a representing agency on their profiles. Maybe Sullivan thinks he is such a master at closing the deal he can double cross relatives or lawyers who represent these lads?
Have we reached the stage where our owner has burnt his bridges so often over the years that aside from Salthouse nobody else really enjoys doing business with him anymore?
The mind boggles but it's possible eh?
Its very plausible, and i really hope its true. That would make his tenure unbearable
Work smarter not harder. If theyd put the time in early and identified the players we needed we wouldnt be in this fucking mess!

Frankfurt are pretty good at player recruitment, hopefully if he does sign for us and they were interested it's a good sign.

This is the mark of how shit our squad and club is. Even wolves are selling players for 30-50 million to decent clubs. Aside from one, we can’t even shift anyone and those who have left have gone to lower league clubs or nowhere.

Eintracht Frankfurt look to hijack West Ham’s move for Soungoutou Magassa
Soungoutou Magassa’s (21) move to West Ham United looked to be only a matter of time. The Hammers already had a deal in place with AS Monaco, with whom they had agreed on a €20m fee, including bonuses.
The France youth international had also given the green light to the deal, even agreeing to a six-year deal. Magassa has also already completed his medical to become a West Ham player. All that was lacking was the officialisation of the midfielder’s move to the London club.
However, there is now a chance of the deal falling through at the 11th hour. As per a report from Foot Mercato, Eintracht Frankfurt have made a late approach to sign the Monaco midfielder on a loan deal, with the obligation to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
The Bundesliga side are now pushing for Magassa to join them over West Ham. The player himself is very tempted by the possibility of joining the German club, Foot Mercato understands.
I'd love to say I'm shocked but I'm not.

Fucking disgrace. Like watching a Train wreck in slow motion. I’m not sure anyone we sign now will make any difference to the highly likely outcome of this season, we may as well just admit defeat and plan for next season

It wouldn't matter if the loan deal for Sangarre went through now or not as he couldn't play against his parent club on Saturday anyway.
As well as midfield we really do need at least one decent centre back. As my Doris, beautiful and smart she may be, but knows the square root of fuck all about football, said last night, as she watched the Wolves winner go in "That's odd, both those centre defender blokes didn't jump at all and are looking at the goal instead of the ball" I went to say get back to yer knitting love, but unfortunately she was right. Worst defending i've ever seen at West Ham and that's a low bar to beat. We need a new manager and 5 signings. We wont get them though, FFS
