NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"The defence is clearly decent, but I'd fancy all of us to keep out all of the teams they've played so far. Our start hasnt been tough, but the Pat's has been the easiest in history. Giants only have 3 decent offensive players and all of them were dead."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Saw a quote today from a Saints sportswriter that gave me a chuckle. Change the context and it probably crosses a lot of sports boundaries. ""I sometimes speak about the Saints 2017 draft in more loving terms than I do my own family. To be fair, my family didn't hold Tampa Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans to zero catches for zero yards on Sunday as (2017 draftee Marshon) Lattimore did."""

"yes, cough, great legends and warriors during the time they played. haven't seen the QB one posted yet but it'd be good to see Bradshaw, Elway, Montana, Marino & Brady round a table :.)"
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Hermit, the Vikings are hurting, you don't want to play the Vikings when there in that mood"

"Mike, Loved that bit when Lawrence Taylor choked up at Harry Carson, that was some linebackers at that table"

"Cough, your Vikings are going to get smeared on Sunday. Falace, outstanding move getting the Cowboys defence against the Jets this week. I though about it myself but no way I could have them on the team"

"Giants have ruled out barkley, engram, shepherd and gallman ahead lf tomorrow night's game. Poor ""danny dimes"" is going to be out there all by himself against that patriots defence"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"A lot of smart money going on Gase to the be the shortest tenured NFL coach for some time. Jets currently 0-4 and next up they have the Cowboys followed by the Patriots. There's smart cash going on Gase getting the chop at 0-6, with Williams taking over. The 0-4 record is bad enough, but the nature of the defeats, and the level of fan discontent, is leaving Gase very exposed."

Niners are very good. Bringing in that Breida geezer to my fantasy team last week worked well too. That bloke has a rocket up his arse.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Yeah the defence looks good and they've beat up on some bad teams (bengals, steelers) which is what you expect a good team to do. Just worry about the ball security at times, 5 turnovers against the Steelers i think it was, Anyone but Mason Rudolph making his 1st start would have probably made them pay for that"

"the niners have looked consistently good shutting down attacks, if they get ahead in games it's hard to comeback with the way that secondary is playing"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"are the Browns terrible again now? thought they were supposed to be brilliant after they trounced the Ravens. So many middling inconsistent teams that will all take games off of eachother, especially in the NFC, will be very hard to predict playoff seeding."

"haha. I still think they may struggle to score enough if they get to the playoffs, your game sunday against them should be very good"
