"Been very vocally Moyes out for a while now, if we win the ECL despite the dogshit prem season I'll accept we should give him the start of next season. Lose the final though then it's time to say goodbye."

"I don't want to see it either. However if the end result is a shitty, ugly stressful game to sit through which ultimately ends in a win, then I'll take it. If it's that way and we lose, well it'll be open season on here once again I expect, and goodbye Dave."

You have to play to win in the final. Clearly we don't want to lose it but playing like we after nicking a 0-0 draw in a European final is not something I want to see. Play like we did yesterday and we'll win. We literally could and should have put 5 past them (yes its Leeds but still)

"The issue is his safety first defensive mentality holding the team back from playing like yesterday. He can't help but set the team up like that when there's anything at stake because it's what he does. Clearly yesterday with the occasion he told the players to just go out and have fun rather than be deep at all times and don't overcommit forward. I expect a fairly similar approach vs Leicester, and then back to the usual style of setting out for the final. Backs to the wall, concede ball and possession, try not to concede and then hope for something on the break- at least for the first half or until we go a goal behind- whichever comes sooner."

"You say that Alf, but then we get performances like yesterday, so there is a decent team there somewhere now, if Moyes can get them playing like that every week then as far as I'm concerned, the job is his. If he purposefully stifles them with this dire dogmatic unattractive football where we try not to lose and yet do so more often than not, then its time for him to go, because its really been unwatchable at times and that defeats the very object of the game."

"The Conference League Cup would be the lipstick on the pig that has been league form and the Moyes philosophy and style of football. And we know that ""lipstick on a pig""ù is exactly what the classy owner we have goes for."

"A reality check. Two Christmases back we were in Europe and doing OK in the league. But, we could all see cracks then, tiredness and the fact that other teams were spotting weaknesses in individuals and our style of play. The following window could have made or broken us. A couple of new faces to freshen up (left back and a striker) and we would have been more competitive. As it was we did nothing, fizzled out in the league and The Europa League. Come summer a load of late signings, mostly good players, but all disparate with no time to bed in and no team cohesion. At the end of the season we are kind of finding our feet. Overall though it has generally been a shit season and whilst I would love to win the Conference I still feel deflated that we did not go further in the Europa league last year, even win it and been in a proper competition this year. Of course Sullivan is the main architect of all this disappointment but Moyes played a very significant role. The style of play is largely unchanged and big teams generally take the piss; the number of games lost this year whilst turning in a totally turgid display was unacceptable; particular players are targeted by the opposition for their weaknesses and others are run into the ground and our talisman is off. Next season sees a fresh start and Moyes should play no part in that, Let's hope we win the Europa Conference, thank him and get a new, progressive manager who gets the best out of a talented squad, brings through some of our youngsters, and ruthlessly cuts out the good servants who are passed their sell by date."

"I cannot ignore the dross we've been served up and the defensive negative style for the last 18 months, despite rare glimpses of the hand-brake coming off. I also cannot ignore the fact that Moyes has proven that he cannot change and / or adapt his style and he cannot be trusted to spend transfer money, integrate new players and rotate a squad efficiently. Despite that, for now, I'll put that aside and enjoy the lead up to the final and give Moyes a massive pat on the back and respect for steering us to our first European final in my lifetime. He and the players deserve a huge recognition of what they have achieved. Yes, we've not played the highest of quality sides in this comp but, again, you have to beat who's in front of you. And, like us all, I pray with every fibre of my being that we win it. Would be great moment for the club and also set us up for another year in the Europa which is equally as important. But when the dust settles and this season is gone. I will be asking myself the same question. Is Moyes the man to progress us and move us onto the next level. For me, no."

Has anyone else noticed that the current Europa Conference League cup holders Roma have reached the Europa League final this season? Just saying!

"TBH A good end to the season and hopefully a cup win is a perfect opportunity to leave with his head held high, on ""òhis terms' and with his stock the highest it's been in years. Shouldn't be a shortage of another job offer from somewhere at the moment."

Amazing how many times a Leeds player has gone down injured since they scored

I would do the very same Duke.....in fact I would probably be all Stu Francis like a lot of you on here.....if it wasn't for the fact this cսnt is going to try to take a lot of credit for this.....in what should be......an expected trophy win.....and he will say his way of playing was the reason......but when it's put up against proper teams in cups it rarely wins through against top opposition.....and you need more than an odd rare occasion to win even our domestic cups.....against better opposition.....

"The fact that Iron Duke has completely ignored the fact that I purposely ''domestic'' to suit his own agenda is what's truly embarrassing. Also, can you kindly point out where I said I didn't want us to win the final?"

"So comma, we at best can achieve 43 points which is utter shit""¶""¶yet we've got to this final with relative ease""¶..doesn't say a lot for the standard of competition in this cup and confirms that any PL club that qualifies for it should also find it easy to win""¶.should they be like us and take it seriously""¶..Moyes will manage a cup win that should be won""¶."

"I don't think that progress to the final has been a grind at all. We negotiated the mini league with ease and the knock out stage has gone well with us, unlike our rivals, winning both semi final legs."

"Fornals goal at the end glossed over a truly poor performance, yes we defended well and got ""the result ""but I looked at the highlights again , we had 3 good chances they had they same Moyes defended like it was City. His tactics over the course of his reign have led to this,he won't change. Thanks DM. Leave on a high, win us the cup not win you the cup."

"PL clubs only qualify for Europa and Conference by finishing in UK top 6 or 7. That's no mean feat in itself. And when others want to put down WHU for winning every game in this competition except one that we only drew, it makes me mad. We mostly played our second eleven with 2 games per week and are in the final. We may well lose the final and delight the mantra of the doomsayers but I hope we win. We all know our manager has largely failed to adjust to the modern game but, we have achieved something. It's a pity that no matter how little it fits into the never ending posts about the failure of the board as their reason for not going to WH games..."
