"As everybody knows, I'm not a fan of Moyes and his twentieth century tactics. We'll be well rid of him. But, equally, and for this week only. I couldn't give a shit about today's result. It's a tin-pot tournament by grander European standards, but it's a semi final of a cup and Thursday is more important. So I'm pleased Moyes rested players. I will say""¶his tactics today were awful and few of the players covered themselves in glory when given a chance. Shit day. Thankfully forgettable if we win or draw on Thursday""¶"

I think it's hilarious that we use Moyes and tactics in the same sentence

"Moyes basically handed the game on a plate to Brentford with his team selection and tactics, if your going to throw the game at least let the players have a go at trying to win and not stopping the other team to score it hasn't worked that well with the first team. Players won't come to us next season if Moyes is still in charge because they will fear he could destroy there careers."

NYC I would agree with you regarding some players that he's not getting the best out of them with the way they are coached or set up but not Soucek and fornals they are simply awful footballers Aguerd makes basic errors that are nothing to do with coaching. I thought Emerson was shit before we signed him and nothing I've seen from him has changed my mind If you were talking about downes paqueta scammaca I would totally agree with you regarding the way they are coached and utilised. I'd go as far to say the only player that has improved since moyes has got to the club are Bowen.

"We are dreadful to watch, I mean what an abomination of a season this has been and yeah it could end with a trophy but fuck me we're just a shit side to watch. For what he has spent it's arguably one of the worse footballing sides we've ever had. The fact the news today about him staying has came out proper deflated me. I can't wait till he has gone, the club need to show some bottle and move on. Irrelevant what happens he's time is up."

"I said on the match thread, don't be distracted by results against some European trash. We are a fucking awful football team. There was a football podcast about England with Joe Cole & Rio. They said England never had a pattern of play - if you look at the PL teams have a plan of how to get from one end of the pitch to another. When player X has the ball in certain parts of the pitch the rest know exactly where they should be. We don't have a clue. Only thing they know is where to line up when we don't have the ball."

Another awful passive performance No aggression no urgency no intensity Fornals and Soucek just Wow how bad can two players actually be. Two of the worst players I've seen at the club Aguerd and Emerson are two terrible signings from what I've seen. Aguerd makes so many errors it's absolutely shocking. I cannot believe there is a single fan can enjoy watching this style of football

"""Thanks for winning the First European Trophy in eons but now kindly fuck off"" is not a message i can imagine Sullivan delivering this summer (assuming we do actually win) The Right thing is not always the best thing. Moyes does have to go but its critical we get the right replacement and that person has the backing in the transfer market. I don't however see it, I think if he goes it will be when we kick off on a losing streak. We can't afford a repeat of this season without Rice bein replaced adequately. It would spell certain relegation"

"Another performance that will solidify in Moyes mind that he's getting it right this year. When in reality if you never rotate you can't expect if he players to be anywhere near match fit. Cornet, Lanzini, fornals, Emerson all way off the pace. Feel sorry for those that went. It wasn't close to be long a competition"

This shows how limited he is managing a decent sized squad with £170 + millions worth new signings.

"The dross he inherited like Johnson, Fornals, Ogbonna, Fabianski and Lanzini. Done amazingly well to keep us up."

"The worse thing is the club has put the season ticket prices up, if we don't win the conference cup to secure a Europa cup place just watch the corporate lot disappear. If Moyes is still with us next season the so called waiting list might just be halved."

What mindset will he have for today's game ? Will he rest the key players needed for Thursday or will he flog them yet again ?

"genuinely can't do another season of moyes. no manager has underperformed more in the league given what they have had at their disposal this season, but sullivan is exactly the kind of nearsighted tit to have that fact obfuscated to him by the way we've handled ourselves against the likes of cyprian giants larnaca."

"Snide of ham Do you ever stop crying? You and your Tena lady mates get so much joy out of defeats it's quite staggering really. Moyes isn't perfect and I hope he walks away at the end of the season with a trophy, he will be remembered fondly by most of us if that happens. As for you and your Tena lady mates why don't you knock this season on the head and stop posting until August?"
