"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Josh Gordon may be a cսnt, playing for a team of cunts, coached and owned by cunts, but he was 14/1 for 1st TD last night which I ripped skybet arms off for, as before brown starts playing and with Brady always liking a quick early strike with a receiver, just seemed obvious. Shame I'll have given half of it back after tonight's games!! Thomas for the saints at 8/1 and Sanders for the Broncos at 10/1."

"They dont really have a tightend of note currently, ben watson will be back in week 5 after he got popped taking a PED after he'd already announced his retirement Although i wouldnt be surprised if they persuade Gronk to come back later on in the season if he starts getting the itch to play again. Antonio Brown, Josh Gordon, Edelman, Gronk and james white out of the backfield is insane. Dorsett who scored twice last night will hardly see the field"

Just imagine if they get Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon as twin deep threats and Edelman and White carving up the middle. Their new TE has barely got a sniff yet either.

"Looking already like its setting up for a Chiefs Patriots rematch as the class of the AFC, although the child beater disloacated his shoulder i believe and will miss about a month."

"Crystal - I thought that Patriots defense looked ominously good at the weekend. Yet another well-organised, suffocating Belichick defense. Everybody in the AFC East is going to have to up their game, or hope that Brady gets a knock, to put a stop to the run of divisional wins. Unfortunately!"

"Cough - yep, Tom Tupa. I remember it well. Opening day of the season, great head coach (Parcells), brilliant young DC (Belichick), two great wide receivers (Johnson and Chrebet) and a veteran, reliable QB who had improved with age (Vinny). We all thought: this is it, we're going to the superbowl. First or second quarter (can't remember which) of the opening game. We're ahead. Vinny snaps his achilles or calf - some kind of bad injury. So he's out for the season. We only had one back up QB, who was rubbish and a part-time punter who used to be a QB at high school. The part-time punter threw two touchdowns! Tom Tupa. New York Jets legend without ever having achieved much. Bit like Jack Leach in English cricket! Btw - the Jets were typical Jets yesterday. After all the hype of pre-season, all the planning, all the changes etc. They blow a 16-0 lead to lose 17-16 to the fucking Bills. Same old same old."

"I know i was excitred about the Patriot's defence this year but not even i was expecting a performance as dominant as that! completely shut the Steelers down all game barring one big play down the sideline. Josh Gordon looks better than i was expecting, Edelman showing no ill effects after breaking his hand not long ago, Antonio Brown to be added next week, pray for the Dolphins in week 2"

"I'm happy with the result, but not happy with the amount of times I watched the us getting the Bucs to 3rd down only for them to chuck it away with a penalty."

"Very happy with Niners result, defence and second half generally. Was nervous for injuries, but now expecting 2-0. Disappointed Hawks scraped over the line by a point, Rams by just three and Cards somehow got a tie, but you can't have everything."

"I know it happens and I haven't watched the video yet, but I'd hazard a guess that the worst of it will be in the championship game against the Seahawks, where the officials were frankly a disgrace and didn't even hide their bias. Especially when Bowman intercepted and done his knee in. That was grim!"

"Niners win on the road. Defense is legit! Lost count of the number of interceptions, QB pressures and forced fumbles. The reason why Winston looked so trash was because of the Niners D-Line. Niners offense had 3 touchdowns called back because of penalties. Clean up the silly penalties and we will be on a roll.... Next up Cinci. Ninerrrrrs !"

"the only positive I can take from this loss is it's another game closer to gruden going, benching peterson was the dumbest move by any coach this week"
